  1. I hope he does well but not to sound salty, he’s not exactly set the heather on fire anywhere in his career until last season and clearly JBA got the best out him. We’ve seen it before KVV, Theo Bair….. even Ward, get them for nothing, give them a new lease of life and punt them for a good amount before they start to underperform. i sort of feel the same about JT, I felt the dip in his performance last season was drastic. The only player I see moving and getting better is Just. Just in my view is our real class act.
  2. He did move forward when he realised Eli was about to take it but split seconds before it he was looking in the other direction staring at the east stand…looking oblivious to what was going on. a few of us were looking at him laughing when we really should have been concentrating on the penalty….. my lack of awareness was up there with Willy’s
  3. I was hoping to see him play last night, he’s the one youngster I think has a huge chance.
  4. I’ll not bring it up again as I’m not going to bully this guy but he’s not a football player. He had no idea what he was meant to do, his movement was awful and what tipped it for me was when Eli took his penalty, he stood 25yrds out looking at the east stand. He’s a striker supposedly, he should be on the edge of the box.I honestly thought we’d been duped by George Weah’s cousin. Anyway… on another minor point, the big lad who came on in the 2nd half? Nagunda? Or something? He’s 16yrs old!!!! 16!!!!!! I thought he was a coach when I saw him warm up at the start of the game. He actually looks like he can play but he desperately needs to shed some timber.
  5. I really hope I’m wrong too. Hooking him for no reason after 30 mins in a friendly though may be a sign the manager saw enough too.
  6. I’m normally a half glass full type when it comes to Motherwell but I really didn’t know what to make of that tonight. I do think it’s quite concerning playing that side with such an important game next week and having so many kids get quite a bit of game time. I compared it to the game v Hertha last year where I saw a style emerge and players always available looking for the ball to this tonight where at times we were trying to stumble through the opposition. I thought the players we know did fine, Eli, Said, Lucas and Oscar I thought did ok and RCC looked ok too. The new keeper looks ok-ish but quite small. Moorman I thought looked a wee bit like Liam Gordon but less aggressive. a couple of the youngsters I thought looked handy when they came on…. Not all of them. The boy Hunter scored a really well taken goal. negatives. Willy Vogts. I am never a guy to judge too quickly but apologies to everyone as I’m going to do it. That was probably the worst debut I’ve ever seen and he was hooked after 30mins. He looked like a competition winner, he doesn’t even walk like he plays sport. I can only hope he was ill and he recovers but to play this guy and not use big Thor I found utterly baffling. also Alfred screams nonsense during the game, he’s extremely loud and quite confusing. I did feel at a point in the 2nd half to shout and tell him to shut the fk up. and don’t get me started on the POD seats…. My back is breaking, there’s no space and the guy in front of me cut all his leg on the sharp corner of the plastic seat… blood pissin out the back of his leg. Unacceptable. I’ll go to bed and just hope next week we have some players back and fit. But to be honest, I’m not too hopeful unfortunately.
  7. Good big keeper, we’ve had so many worse than him who were our No1s. Good luck to him. Just hope Paulsen is the business. Looking forward to see a few newbies tonight.
  8. It’s the Turkish side. Close on £2m I heard. It’s from someone who is usually reliable but you never know. I don’t see anything online about it.
  9. If we finish 6th with a decent cup run I will be more than happy. Alfred has a tough gig on his hands
  10. Got my ticket for Fridays game and there’s not many/any left in the centre part of the main stand. Might be a decent crowd in. I’ll be happy if there’s a sign that we are playing in a similar fashion to last year albeit looking pretty raw and I fully expect a bundle of mistakes. I look forward to the many mutterings of “it’s just not the same” from the crowd.
  11. Jeez, you lot are a tough audience lol
  12. Did we not have a Franz Reich play for us before? Add Jake Reich to the equation and he’ll be our second. i wonder if we’ll ever have a third Reich

France have been poor so far, they need to get their act together as I think they are the only side who will beat England if they get to the final. Spain notoriously sh1t the bed.
