  1. I’d agree, I’ve not seen too much in him yet but I do think we need to mix it up a little. I’d move Maswanhise wide and have him play off the big man. As much as I love wee Said I think he’s been off it for a few weeks, he might have a stronger impact coming on as sub. certainly nothing to get worked up about, the football is still good to watch and there’s 8 great games left to the season. Let’s face it, even the happiest of clappers couldn’t have predicted we’d be in this position when we played Twente in pre season.
  2. Don’t have any arguments with that today. I thought we did fine and played really good stuff at times and infact i felt we were having the upper hand at the time of the penalty/sending off. After that it was damage management. Nothing to get too disheartened about, the next 2 home games are the more crucial ones. We need to stay in 4th and try and cause a bit of mayhem in the top 6.
  3. Halliday as the emergency left back cover I see
  4. Looks like McGregor is out for Saturday. As much as he’s a bit past it he’s still important to them so I hope we can dominate the midfield. I’d like Tierney out as well as he’s been one of their better performers of late. Fadinger is fit as well which is brilliant news but the “he took a bump on his nose” comment about why he came off last week is a wee bit strange. I’m hoping it was a wee bit sorer than a bump on the nose? These Austrians sound saft 🤣 also RCC out again for a few weeks, I’m finding it hard to warm to this guy. Anyway… As much as last weeks result deflated me, I have a second wind of enthusiasm. A narrow win for the good guys.
  5. They won’t make a statement about how rotten to the core both clubs are. Rangers: really sorry about the pitch invasion and the assaults on the police and Celtic coach and the incessant sectarian singing….. but Celtic started it. Celtic: sorry about the mini pitch invasion, the rushing of the turnstiles, the vandalism and the tagging of 66 all over Ibrox….. but Rangers started it. its just boring whataboutery all the time and anyone with a brain knows it. Dock the 2 of them points and make them play in an empty stadium for 6 months. That’ll fk them both off!! starting on Saturday please.
  6. I know if Jens was to go and we appoint someone like Robinson I’d be annoyed. It’s worse than an underwhelming appointment. now add that to the mix of Aberdeens self worth and view of their own importance and I’d imagine there will be a mass of rage in the north east community. as someone who isn’t too keen on Aberdeen or St Mirren…. It’s an appointment I’m very much enjoying
  7. This to me is the troubling thing about it, we’ve had this at fir park with Celtic before and it was definitely the case at that last game at home v Rangers, they clearly had 100s of extra fans in there as they took over the stairwells. I know it is difficult to control these hoards of fans but it’s an accident waiting to happen. Something needs done about it.
  8. I think as long as you are on the “system” and confirmed as a fan, then it doesn’t matter and they’ll sell you a ticket. I do recall it was always first dibs to season ticket holders but I dont think that’s the case now
  9. Ok 👍 back to the match on hand. Great to see us sellout our 750 tickets on Saturday.
  10. I don’t want to poke a bear (literally) but are you a Motherwell fan? Have you ever attended a Motherwell match? im pretty sure every single post I’ve seen from you is suggesting we’ll lose whatever game we are playing? I may be totally wrong and I’m sorry if I have the wrong end of the stick but it just seems you are a rangers fan trolling us? Which again…. Is fine but just a bit odd
  11. Did Rangers fans not jump onto the park when Fernandez slam dunked it into the Celtic net? anyway, the whole whataboutery is pathetic and really has hee haw to do with us. I just found the whole thing totally distasteful…… and I know I shouldn’t…quite funny!! Both support highlighted for what the are….. an embarrassment on to Saturday now and watching Celtic yesterday, we should have nothing to fear…. They really aren’t that good
  12. Because this was Scottish cup would it play a part in them being fined/docked points etc for the league? I can’t see them docked anything as I think it’ll be a fine but there could be the possibility of their next game being behind closed doors? Who knows!!
  13. Both will get fined a small amount and it’ll blow over after a lot of finger pointing as usual. Rangers may get a bigger fine as one of their fat fans wobbled on and had a pop at a Celtic official but sadly… that will be it. Rangers will blame the schools system and things will role on to the next poisonous encounter. my main take from that game was Celtic made almost zero chances in 120 mins and their injury position looks bad so this bears well for Saturday.
  14. 2 groups of sub humans. It’ll now be a 2 week borefest of whataboutery from both sets…… a bit like MJC’s post above.
