  1. I think we’d have enough for a training facility as well
  2. I looked about small stadiums in Europe and I think around £20m is the cost. I’d hate a Lego style stadium like St Mirren or St Johnstone. If we did get a new stadium I’d like it to look a bit unique. the stadium of Nijmegen is a 12000 seater and is the sort of style I’d like and the stadium of stade de la maladier in Switzerland is a belter, that’s a 12000 seater and was £20m to build. id prefer to stay at fir park but unless we knock down the main stand and start again. I can’t see the stadium lasting another 10yrs or so as financially I think that main stand is a money pit for maintenance.
  3. this game imo is up there with the most important of the season. It’s the game in hand we really need to win. 3 points will put us 1 behind the h#ns and potentially ahead of Celtic if they don’t win midweek. Even if they do beat Aberdeen it still keeps us really close. ive not bought a ticket yet but I will. We need a good support up there. it’s only Sunday and I feel quite nervous about it….. I’m too old for this carry on
  4. I thought we made a wee but heavy weather of that but a 2-0 at home I’d take tha any day of the week. Agree we need to be better next week v Dundee. That will be a tough one.
  5. I think Fadinger has to start regardless of how well Priestman has played. Fadinger is different class and has had a break and is fresh. I’d be shocked if he wasn’t straight back in. What a great selection to have though.
  6. If we can get wins against both the Dundee teams we are 100% in the title race. Any less than 6 points I think the dream may be derailed
  7. Open goal is worth the watch this week, Motherwell mentioned throughout but primarily from about the 1hr mark. Quite interesting stuff considering it’s hosted by Ferry and Slane. Good to hear Jamie Murphy’s thoughts as well and he even mentioned the legend that is Jim Gannon.
  8. Getting the top 6 in February….. Not even any need for a Rickie Lamie last minute goal!!! we are so boring…… but I’ll take it 🤣
  9. I can in a way see why he’s being touted for Celtic. Traditionally they’ve always been a team who play decent football and are a bit better to watch than Rangers who were always a “win at all cost regardless of style” type of club but there’s something in my head thinking that he can do without that hassle. He strikes me as a guy who wouldn’t put up with the toxic nonsense from their crowd which would then end up with him being a disliked figure. I see him going to England. I could see him working wonders with a good club in the championship. I’d think his life would be 100 times better there than dealing with Joe Bigot on a daily basis up here. or he can just stay with us and do what that Auxere manager did for years. Refuse to move to bigger jobs and turn his side into a champions league team….. that’d be my preferred option 🤣
  10. I remember Craig Patersons career was finished because he asked for £50 a week more. I don’t think Tommy played him again. I always remember thinking he didn’t deserve that. ive no doubt there was penny pinching and tough budgets but he did manage to broker himself a good pay deal when he left us for hearts Anyway, he’ll still go down… even with me… as a real legend of the club.
  11. Does “we” mean “I” 😉 im not convinced he did move on from mistakes. We suffered years of negative performances and then we had a couple of really good seasons, mostly sparked by the genius of Cooper. He then tore apart a good cup winning team because he fell out with them and then buggered off to Hearts who he almost relegated. He also failed at Dundee Utd I just think our views of him are clouded because of the cup win. But….. that day is still one of the best of my life so I still love the pig headed wee guy.
  12. Wee Tommy was probably the most negative managers we’ve ever had. Our manager now has the polar opposite approach to games.
  13. The foul was outside the box as well, that referee will be on the lodge blacklist come Monday morning.
  14. It was meant to be 9mins added right enough? Not that I doubt the integrity of the officials. feel for Livi, 2-0 up and then they get the obligatory man sent off. Again, not that I doubt the integrity of the officials
  15. Some results today. Think I’m having some type of cheese dream i believe
