If we get past Aberdeen we have a good chance of getting to a semi final. Dunfermline aren’t that great, saw them a few times this season and it’s all effort not much ability.
Clearly he’s not been reading this forum.
yeah I’ll not forget the pundits, ex players and managers who were happy for us to fail and unhappy a team “like Motherwell” chose a foreign manager.
Ill also not forget the ones who have been positive and some who surprised me, right from the start.
I’m hoping we have this mindset. I’d like for us all to say goodbye to the “punching above our weight” chat. Or what Craigan said today about “we used to go to ibrox scared” p1sh. Statements hidden behind the banner of “being realistic”….. fk realism
weve been in the top league for over 40yrs, we should have the attitude that we should be doing better and we should be winning cups. We are good enough to beat everyone else in this league this season…. Go in with the right attitude and we can win any game.
I feel like we’ve not played in ages and it bothers me a wee bit, especially as Rangers have played two games since our last game and won heavily ( I presume they’ll scud QP today)
im never sure that resting up and not having games is a good thing when we are on a good run. Time will tell….
My mate (Aberdeen fan/from Peterhead) was talking to me this morning. He’s saying he’d be shocked if the game is on. If anything the rain has been worse yesterday and today up there and the park is a mud heep.
i think I’d prefer it off as well as it sounds like it’d be a total lottery.
Definitely a penalty but the whole double jeopardy is a nonsense when dealing with refs up here.
the main issue for me was that Tavernier was booked and then he deserves another booking when he hauled the striker down when it would been a 1 on 1.
it was 1-0 at that stage, I think Killie deserve to be a bit put out by that.
anyway… we all know (well most of us) what we are up against up here. Its always been the case.
That is a valid point, 2 huge games coming up. The more I think about it the more I’m thinking it might have been a bit of a lottery tonight anyway on a sodden, waterlogged park, potential injuries and sapped legs as well for Saturday.
Not ideal but Halliday can cover as left back when he’s fit. He played left back under Gerrard at Rangers …. For most of that season I think? and he also was left back when he played down south at Middlesbrough and Bradford.
ok his legs are a bit gone but he knows the system and he is a good passer of the ball. He could do a Stevie Hammell job in an emergency
