  1. Sligo was pretty easy to get to and not bank breaking. Getting to the Faroes is a nightmare. I’m holding firm for next round lol 😂
  2. I would really hope we could progress from this game, we really should be better than HB. If we can, a more accessible next round should hopefully await.
  3. Believe it or not a current bun I know well and is usually not prone to maniac statements said to me that raskin was a genuine world class talent…. I laughed in his face…. Quite loudly it has to be said.
  4. I’ll give him the 2 HB games, if I don’t see improvement from last year, I’m calling for his head.
  5. Well that’s not so bad, I’m glad that happened. As I said I’m sure he has spoken well of us in the past but I’d never heard him do it.
  6. I’m sure he must have done at some point but personally I have never heard him say one positive thing about Motherwell. considering I watched a couple of seasons pre-cooper of him aimlessly running around midfield, I think I deserve an apology at least.
  7. Eli was brilliant in that first half, an absolute stand out I thought. 2nd half Egypt were much better and deserved the win but he’s really showing himself up as a class act. I’ve resigned myself to him being picked up but we are talking millions and it wouldn’t surprise me to break Lennon Millers fee.
  8. I’d have thought George Stevenson would be at number 1 for us. Legendary player in the clubs best ever side, league winner and also manager for our cup wins of the 50s
  9. St John was hugely important to Liverpool and its history. Him and Ron Yeats were the 2 who sparked Shankley’s reign of success. St John will be in their top 10 I’d imagine.
  10. Hendry has been one of the biggest disappointments in years. A total dud of a signing. What a wasted wage. we need a number of players in so hopefully the backroom people are on it and Alfred has a couple of picks up his sleeve. I look forward to the first darkened video of a players shadow.
  11. It’ll be interesting seeing how our new manager does with regards the conference game, he mentioned that straight away and you do find foreign coaches are desperate to do well and try themselves out in this arena. both Rangers and Celtic as you mentioned aren’t evolving. They are fixated on beating one another and if any team in the league has the audacity to challenge them in any way, they try and get their players/manager on the cheap and attempt to unsettle them…. Helped by the media. i have no doubt “Del” will breenge his way through the league and win games as will “papa Martin” but I know both will fail miserably in Europe with their Jurassic style approach.
  12. I’m not so sure about that. Craig Brown was always a “Craig Brown man” and There’s no getting over the fact calling someone a Motherwell/st Mirren/Killie man is 1000% different to calling someone a “rangers/celtic man.”and “he gits it” using these phrases is as as subtle as the orange away kit or the tri-colour trackie. We all know what it really means.
  13. Del???? Oh please im delighted we don’t have a support who use the phrases “he jist gits it” “he knows whit the clubs aboot” “he’s a rangers /sellic man” …… that whole low life bigotville we are blighted by. thank god we are not these “people” the guy sounds like he wants to maintain what we have and it’s another refreshing appointment. Goan yersel Alfie
  14. His English is even more impressive than Jens. Flawless.
  15. Frantically googling Alfie’s history. Rosenberg are a big club, let’s hope he’s another Jens and maybe snag a couple of good prospects from over there too.
