I’m just hoping Koutroumbas can get back asap and get a run of games. All proper defenders. I like sparrow, he works his ar5 off but he’s not a full back. I also don’t think he’s recovered from his injury as he doesn’t seem to be able to run properly. In the cold light of day I felt for him yesterday … he had a stinker. But he wasn’t alone. this is not bedwetting either, I’m not even particularly annoyed at our crazy goal we lost, just disappointment on how we underperformed against a side who have spent millions but are totally disjointed…. And they won’t finish second.

That just did not feel right at all today, we lacked the speed we have been playing at and we were really slack, really frustrating that we didn’t give a good account of ourselves. I don’t think Lee Hollis has been employed by anyone after us….. come to think of it I don’t think he was employed by anyone before us. I’m sure he’ll be available fits the criteria, small and looks like a full back.

A 10 team league would be horrendous, playing each other 4 times and added pressure of 6 or 7 teams every year fighting relegation. Imagine the pressures that would bring to bed in young players. 16 or 18 team league playing home and away fixtures is what most fans want and I think would help Scottish clubs bring through youngsters and would also help Scottish sides in Europe

Hodge and Lowry were the top performers. Went for hodge only because I went for Lowry on Sunday. only player I was a bit disappointed with was JT. There’s just something a bit off with him just now, he needs a big performance for his confidence….. I hope that comes at the weekend as we all know he can do it. and of course I was disappointed with Vogt…. He’s a competition winner… no idea why he’s here.

Lowry and Hodge for me were brilliant tonight. slightly disappointed we didn’t extend our lead….
