Can’t stand St Mirren, their fans annoy the life out me and the semi final reaction from them last year will be something I’ll not forget. In general I have no problems with any clubs or fans outwith the old firm but for some reason St Mirren are the exception. lets thump them

He’s a very good player and he’s a decent striker, still arguably our best striker (you don’t get caps for Australia, especially at the time he did if he was a dud) but it doesn’t matter if you play amateur or pro, if your heart isn’t in it and there’s no enthusiasm….. it’s pointless…. It’s going to be difficult shipping out players who are injured eg AP, Hendry and Eythor im hoping Thor gets his chance as I thought he looked decent last year. Hendry can go, total waste of space and money, and AP (as much as I do think there’s a player there) he doesn’t want to be here, cut our losses and release him. as for €7m for Maswanhise… as Roy Keane would say…. Cloud cuckoo land.

Not to spark any hint of hope but Fortuna Dusseldorf have slipped to the bottom of League 3 in Germany (a drastic demise for them) and are apparently “p1sh”. (Words of my German footballing anorak mate) all I’m hoping for is for us to compete, keep the score down and get a goal for our travelling fans to celebrate. Nobody will convince me Vogt is a player, out of all players mentioned above, Higdon, moult, Cowan etc etc ….. they’d all proved themselves prior to coming to us. I’d never boo any of our players though, absolutely never. I will however put my head in my hands and say nothing or mutter quietly to myself “for fks sake”!!! I would love it if he proved my initial take as wrong but I do see Willy moving on loan as soon as we get players back fit or another attacking player is added. and I think the players don’t rate him either…. The general looks and moaning at him when he’s on doesn’t fill me with our players having much confidence in him.

Even if we can pay a portion of his weekly earnings (a small portion) it should benefit him and also back in the Scotland shop window with the new manager. I’m sure he’s still only 25/26? as mentioned though, being injured so often has stalled his career. We don’t need another one in the treatment table.

I see Turnbull on the bench again today, didn’t come on as a sub last week either. Cardiff have bought a new midfielder for millions who plays in the same position. And he’s only had a few mins throughout pre season games. obviously we can’t buy him or afford his wages but surely a loan wouldn’t be out the question? Could be that midfielder to get us goals and create a bit in the final third.

All I saw was groups of Freiburg fans who consisted mainly of da’s wife’s and weans…. The guy at the front was in a wheelchair? If you saw them launching bottles fair enough but on the footage I saw everything on their pointed at well fans being the more aggressive. If it was mainly Freiburg fans causing issues tho I’m happier with that take.

Just watching some of the social media footage from last night. Looks like there was a bit of a skirmish in the town centre as a few of our Motherwell stone island throbbers took exception to the Freiburg fans march to the ground. Some of these wee tools are an embarrassment. hope this doesn’t have a negative impact on the Well fans going and doing the same in Freiburg.

Really pleased to see SODs back and when he came on his enthusiasm and energy sparked a bit of determination….. I also liked how the first thing he did was berate WV for standing on the touchline not moving and staring at the sky. And btw the players are getting fed up of WV as well, I saw a few shout at him with their arms out as if to say “wtf are you doing” as soon as players are fit he’ll be sent out on loan, guaranteed

I thought JGR was outstanding, him and Moorman were my picks (Moorman would have got it pre red card) and a mention to young JKL and Hodge, who I thought did very well.
