  1. I know what you mean but I do think he’s been carrying an injury, I thought his movement was significantly better on Saturday. Outwith his penalties his other goals are proper strikers goals. There is a good player there, it may just be he’s not suited to our style of play and I think that’s the same for Hendry, unless it’s going to take a bit of time for strikers to get used to it? I have a feeling he’ll start tomorrow
  2. I actually thought that Stama did well when he came on at the weekend and looked sharper and quicker than he has done? Maybe his injury that he’s been having bother with has cleared up or he’s been at a sprint coach or something but I’d play him from the start. I still think he’s a better and cleverer player than Hendry. i was glad also that he took the penalty away from Maswanhise. Showed confidence and belief that’s he’s the striker, he’s the penalty taker.
  3. I have a feeling this will be a really good game. I’ll be going along to this looking for a win and I’d love to beat Hearts on Saturday as well seeing as their wheels are now coming off the bogey as expected. They were rank rotten today against Aberdeen and they played like a traditional McInnes side.
  4. Just listened to King Billy Dodds giving his review of the game and it has no resemblance to anything I’ve just watched. Killie were outstanding in the 2nd half??? Apparently Maswanhise’s goal was a toe poke and goalie error, second goal “came from a corner” and a VAR penalty got us back in the game and saved us when Killie were the better side. thanks Billy….. now fk off back to new Cumnock
  5. Great win at a horrible place. Take that every day of the week.
  6. He also said that driving at 5mph in an area filled with prostitution was him just being a careful driver
  7. Really solid first half again but I have a wee bit of Falkirk vibes. Be Good to see if we’ve learned our lesson from that game. as long as we start the 2nd half with the same intensity as the 1st half then I’d hope we will be ok. and to play football the way we have on that surface is phenomenal tbh. Fair play.
  8. I know the reasons and completely get it but i do find it a tad infuriating to see just on the bench today. Clearly he’s knackered but he’s very good on these plastic park monstrosities. Hopefully he’ll get on in the 2nd half and link up well with slattery again.
  9. I think there’s maybe an issue with him settling by the sounds of it. Although it does surprise me a bit as I watched Slanes you tube thing and Lennon had said all communication is in English between the players and management so you’d think it’d be much easier for him. I have watched Udinese a few times and they are a good side and they are a massive team, all units who are all mobile and good on the ball. Lennon still just looks (and is) a young boy. But I do agree a move back to Scotland would be backwards step. It’s a difficult one for him.
  10. He’s as well coming back to us on loan. We play better football than either rangers or celtic and their fans have always said he’s not good enough to play there. They’ll give him stick from day one. id be disappointed to see him leave Udinese but the lad does have to play. Like someone mentioned above, farm him out to another Italian side rather than a backward step to Rangers/Celtic.
  11. 3 wins - 3 draws and 1 defeat i still see us in the top 6 come new year
  12. Welsh pips it for me but Slattery I thought did very well.
  13. I think I’m going against the grain here but I really enjoyed that game today, I thought at periods during that game we were exceptional. The way we shifted the ball about is better than anyone else in the league. What we do miss though is that striker who we’d be confident of converting any half chance also a solid reliable goalie. Hope we can use some cash quickly to get a couple of players in rather than having money in the bank and paying a chunk of it to the taxman
  14. I’d suggest that should have been the team that started last week. no Halliday on the bench either? Mmmm wonder if the jumping around a couch supporting Rangers on Sunday didn’t go down so well. Or maybe the little bit of criticism about our performance/ set up v st Mirren did it.
  15. I still think a draw would be a good result tomorrow. Aberdeen are looking much better just now but I’m hopeful the exertions of their midweek game has taken it out them. We need something from the game as I know I’m still deflated after Saturday, so the players will be worse. It’s going to be ups and downs but I just don’t see a Kettlewell style free fall?
