  1. I think we’ll win tonight. No idea where that’s coming from as I’m generally downbeat about our chances. Just have a feeling under the lights with an increased support we’ll be ok. That and Dundee are poor and low on confidence just now…. Probably even more so than us.
  2. Michael Higdon is the one that springs to mind? He got dogs abuse, gave a “get it up yi” sign to the fans and then went on a goal spree lol I feel for ODonnell, I think he’s an honest player and an honest guy and a player who has represented us really well since he signed but I think he’s done now …. I really do, it was like watching Joe wark when we got promoted in 1982 and was past it (not that I’m comparing football ability as Joe was 100 times the player SODs is/was) but I feel for him getting abuse as he’s not the one picking himself. I actually think he starts games reasonably well, he then makes a mistake (every week) and then caves. It’s an absolute confidence thing I’m sure and Wimmer will need to deal with that.
  3. There really hasn’t been much in this game between the two sides. Absolutely terrible goal to lose. I think we showed at least a wee bit of urgency in the second half but it’ll be a long couple of months. I do think the best we will get is 10th.
  4. He’s been rotten. He looks as if he’s just trying to get up to speed following his injury. halliday off eventually. Spent about 70mins of that game on his ar5e.
  5. He’s still on. It’s unbelievable. He must just bore managers into submission and make them believe he’s good. Hes got a potential career in sales….. hopefully soon.
  6. There’s nothing pedigree in that squad
  7. Our set pieces are appalling. Aimless balls floated into the box. Utter dugmeat.
  8. Odonnell is definite poorest of the 3 in the air. Beggars belief why Dalby (one of the leagues strongest in the air) is left one on one with SOD. I’m not even sure Casey or Gordon were within 15yrds of him when that cross went in. Very Poor goal to lose.
  9. Maswanhise is the only player we have capable of something a bit different and creating something. its sort of business as usual really. I don’t see any reason why koutroumbis was frozen out? Doesn’t look to be any worse than what we have had served up at right back this season.
  10. A standard Motherwell goal to lose. Run of the mill cross into the box.
  11. Stone island jaiket…. Have ‘it!!!!!
  12. Yeah, I just do not rate the guy. It is temporary but I don’t see him winning any games for us with saves before Oxborough gets back. i really don’t see us getting anything today but I just want to see a better performance and a bit of an idea of how Wimmer wants to play. The high tempo stuff looks a potential red herring with Halliday in the middle of the park but we’ll see how it goes.
  13. I was fortunate to know Cammy and his family and it’s a really sad loss. An absolute gentleman and a guy who would always have time for you. He was well respected at every side he represented as we can see from the genuine messages of condolences online from st mirren and Arbroath. Rest in peace Cammy.
  14. We’ll find out next year when he’s working at Arnold Clark. “tell you what Scotty, this is a great wee run around, I built it myself in my workshop, I’ve spent 20hrs a day working on it. I’m not going to take any advice on it from anyone who hasn’t dedicated their life tampering with a 1.2 engine…… “ ….it’ll work a treat for 6months and then it’ll be a right off and he’ll blame Arnold Clark”
  15. I do feel sorry that his wife had to take their kid out of the stadium at the st Johnstone cup tie but I think she was doing the kid a favour. I wish my mother would have taken me out the ground that day too and I’m 50yrs old.
  16. I had always stuck up for SK even throughout his disastrous run of games last season and most of this season but for him to bring this out in the sun on the day we appoint a new manager is really poor form, especially when he’s had almost a month to make a proper statement. This is one big FO to the fans really.
  17. Just saw the clip of him arriving and meeting the staff and team. Fair play to Frail who stayed and conducted all the introductions. He didn’t have to do that considering he resigned today. A Top guy who deserves a bit of credit, good luck wherever he ends up, he’s conducted himself impeccably after being dumped on by SK. looking forward to see how the manager does, it’s a bit of a risky one but at least at the moment we have all the fans behind him instead of a % of us not wanting him due to a potential old firm bias or us having a football dinosaur or journeyman in charge of us. In Wimmer we trust (for the moment 🤣)
  18. “I think this is what they call “a long throw in””
  19. Intensity and speed …….. music to my ears. Halliday out…… taswanhise in.
  20. I know nothing of this fella. Never heard of him. His management record doesn’t look brilliant either although Vienna are a big side. time will tell I suppose, he’s young-ish and no doubt he’ll be enthusiastic. Hes bringing in his coach as well so it’ll be new all round for us which is probably a good thing. hes got a lot of work to do, there’s so many loan players who’s heart is not in it for the fight and more experienced players who seem a bit over the hill. Its a huge job for him and I think it’ll be a rough couple of months for us.
  21. Calm down dear…. It’s not him
  22. I can just see big Yogi Hughes turning up at the press conference with a tuna crunch and can of vimto from upper crust. you heard it here first.
  23. Yeah i noticed that. Huge big ear and big bent nose. He Covered up his napper with a hat but it did look like him. So it’s either him or Jimmy Nail who has the job.
