  1. I remember Craig Patersons career was finished because he asked for £50 a week more. I don’t think Tommy played him again. I always remember thinking he didn’t deserve that. ive no doubt there was penny pinching and tough budgets but he did manage to broker himself a good pay deal when he left us for hearts Anyway, he’ll still go down… even with me… as a real legend of the club.
  2. Does “we” mean “I” 😉 im not convinced he did move on from mistakes. We suffered years of negative performances and then we had a couple of really good seasons, mostly sparked by the genius of Cooper. He then tore apart a good cup winning team because he fell out with them and then buggered off to Hearts who he almost relegated. He also failed at Dundee Utd I just think our views of him are clouded because of the cup win. But….. that day is still one of the best of my life so I still love the pig headed wee guy.
  3. Wee Tommy was probably the most negative managers we’ve ever had. Our manager now has the polar opposite approach to games.
  4. The foul was outside the box as well, that referee will be on the lodge blacklist come Monday morning.
  5. It was meant to be 9mins added right enough? Not that I doubt the integrity of the officials. feel for Livi, 2-0 up and then they get the obligatory man sent off. Again, not that I doubt the integrity of the officials
  6. Some results today. Think I’m having some type of cheese dream i believe
  7. Just blow the whistle here and at parkhead now please. 👍 who is the wee annoying guy in the rangers dug out…. He annoyed the life out me at first park, jumping about and screaming instructions. He might be the set piece coach, wee fat guy with an ear piece. An utter 5 card trick!!!!
  8. I think it was a bad brush on his eyelash….. as a contact lens wearer I’m forever having problems with them and I’ve lost count of the times I’ve fell and rolled around on the ground in Merry Street after a little gust of wind hits my eyes. I’m just hoping he’s fit enough for next Saturday as eyelashes are a big problem in football today…. I don’t think it’s mentioned enough 🤥
  9. That and “make the most of it, half your team won’t be there next season” I’ll make the most of it just now thank you, take it game by game as big Jens says. and I can’t think of a player we’ve ever had who is more likeable that Said….. the wee guy is immense
  10. If we stay with the same side as last night we will win. In this game I don’t really want the old “6 changes to be team” post before the game. Fadinger would be the only one I’d consider starting but that’d mean Priestman dropping out and the boy has been exceptional and doesn’t deserve dropped. looking over social media this morning (I know I shouldn’t) it’s so mixed, it’s either we are all arrogant c@nts or we are the future of football. It’s so weird seeing us mentioned by so many other clubs and seeing their opinions. It’s weird but I do like it. i just hope that the slattery thing blows over and doesn’t effect him. He’s been absolutely panned.
  11. Some may say “title winning form” lol
  12. We are sitting there with a GD of +27….. that is mindblowing. I don’t think we’ve ever been in this position in the premier league years.
  13. How can you pick one player? Impossible task.
  14. Utterly magnificent!! I’m gutted I decided not to take a trip through….. won’t be doing that again this season. wonderful display….. I believe
  15. Sublime 48mins play half as well as that in the 2nd 45 and we’ll skoosh this.
  16. Some big results there today. Really surprised that hearts got a win, they are huffing and puffing and getting results…. Can’t stand them but fair play. results also didn’t go in St Mirrens favour so hopefully we can make it more miserable for them tonight. Robinson isn’t good under pressure either, hopefully the wee angry leprechaun will combust at the side of the park tonight.
  17. Falkirk tearing it up against Hearts today. Playing very well. whatever happens and if the top 6 finishes with the teams as of now….. it’ll be a phenomenal end to the season. Football wise us, Falkirk and Hibs are better football sides and will be taking points off of the current top 3.
  18. I agree, if Falkirk win and we win, anything is possible. I see and hear a lot of our fans this season becoming more positive which is brilliant and refreshing from the traditional doom and gloom merchants.
  19. Some of the absolute sh1te on social media from st Mirren fans (also registered blue tick club page) is utterly pathetic. Such a weirdo club. i hope we go out there and absolutely fkn hump them…. Cmon the Well
  20. I think I’d much prefer said on against st Mirren. He’s got a bit of steel about him and is a bit of a bull who can deal with their hammer throwers.
  21. I’m hoping McGhee could feel like a new signing in the run in to the season but I never recall watching him before thinking he was good on the ball? Time will tell but as he’s quite versatile with positions I imagine he will probably be quite tuned in to formations etc i think it’ll take quite a bit of time for the big striker to find his feet, im thinking we’ll need to be patient with him. He looks very raw so far. I was hoping for a Biereth style start but that’s not happening I’m afraid.
  22. After reflection and my chronic disappointment of last night, I actually think Connelly did quite well after the 5min mark. However the first 5mins did have a huge bearing on the game.
  23. Oh to give this team st Midden a proper skelping!! Their fans seemed to all wake up after our defeat last night again…. Horrible little club and fans. i just hope after that sh1tshow last night there will be a collective drive about everyone, fans as well, to get back on winning ways.
  24. I’d vote for Longelo but his name isn’t above. I thought he did very well when he came on. I’m too disappointed to even think about this any more tonight, we just cannot be changing 5 players especially a goalie …. Who was responsible for priestmans sending off imo….in a really important game like this. Gutting.
  25. Looks like Aberdeens proposed move for their new manager has hit the skids. not major news for us but it can potentially lead to unhappy rumblings from the fans and uncertainty from the players/manager. lets hope for an air of disappointment from the dandy dons tonight
