Said is a brilliant wee player, he can make such a difference coming on. i do feel for Hendry, i just get the impression he’s trying too hard. He’s the best example of a “player who needs a goal “ I think I’ve ever seen.

RCC has been disappointing

Defensively we still look solid I just think a few of our midfielders performances have dropped off a bit. At times we do seem to just Fanny about a little too much outside the box. And as much as I don’t Hendry that much he’s really living off scraps, he actually did very well working a chance for himself early on but he’s had zero else in the way of chances. i still think we are knocking on Dundees door so hopefully a goal will come. and as for the AFCON…. That can go and take a running f@@ to itself.

I watched him play in a recent u17 Scotland game. He’s a centre half. he didn’t stick out but to be fair he didn’t have much to do. Obviously he must be good to be involved at that age.

Happy enough with RCC coming in with Maswanhise’s absence. I’d still have AP in front of Hendry but I know 50% of others don’t. i think that’s a strong enough team to win and fire us into 3rd spot. cmon the ‘well

The past few pies I’ve had have been a fkn disgrace. As you say, stuck to the foil and soggy so you can’t even get it out. Handling one of those and drinking a flat pint of tennents at the same time on a cold concourse sounds fun.

Hearts will drop points, Rangers are on a run of games but are an appalling team and Celtic are a laughing stock. if we get a couple of players in January and get a couple of wins in the next few games I honestly believe we could be right in the mix and sustain it.

The Turnbull thing won’t happen. His wages are ridiculous and his manager likes him and wants him to stay. He’s just been made of glass this season and he’s still getting fit. Hopefully he’ll start tonight v Chelsea. off chance here but would we take Dykes on loan?hes Played few minutes at Birmingham. He’s desperate to play so he can get his Scotland call up and I understand he’s not really in birminghams plans. Birmingham might be happy for us to pay some of his wages for 5 months. we need a striker more than any midfielder

They do so much to make the atmosphere of games better and I think in general they represent the club well but you’ll always get the occasional bell end that wastes that reputation my brother in law took my nephew a few years ago to the Accies v Motherwell game at Douglas park and as he was walking back towards Hamilton west, he had about 6 of them giving him grief and wanting to fight him when he’s walking with his 12yr old son cos he had an Accies scarf on. You just wonder what goes on in their minds to think it’s acceptable.

Infact did he not leave there under a cloud as well? can’t remember offhand but I’m sure he wasn’t liked at the end…… who’d have thunk it lol

They’ll be sitting there praying he gets the Ross county gig and won’t be at home 6day a week.

I want a win after watching that league cup final. Anything less and we should be removing JBA. or is my annoyance and my “it should have been us” blinkeredness distorting my mind. Joking aside we “should” win this and 3 points is important as it’ll be 2 tough games after this. I do hope RCC comes in to replace JT as I’d like to see him getting more of a run, gives us a goal option to.

I was not wanting St Mirren to win that purely out of petty jealousy and annoyance at our semi final performance but…. I’m ok about it now. I can’t stand wee Robinson but I’m pleased for guys like Lasley. i can’t imagine how insufferable their fans will be now right enough.

I’ve just been so impressed with how McGinn has done this season. I was more than dubious he could play the way JBA wants and let’s face it he’s the elder statesman of the team and not getting any younger. his first few games were a bit iffy but he’s been excellent since and reliable and has played a massive role in the current run of clean sheets. Fadinger was excellent too but I’ve plumped for McGinn

Poorest game of the season outwith the semi final. i would have been happy with point at the start and im ok with that now. Conditions were bad. Ward and MgGinn again were excellent.

Not great. Welsh going off didn’t help but hopefully we can change a few things at half time. im sure I’ll be panned here but I just do not see anything in Hendry. I’m not saying he’s not a footballer but I just don’t see him suited to our game. He doesn’t hold the ball up well, he’s not a guy who has the vision to play a clever pass or make a clever move. He’s busy but he’s not getting into any positions to take chances? Which if he was getting into positions I wouldn’t mind so much and I’d think goals will come but I don’t see them coming. To be fair to him I do see a Really frustrated footballer who is trying but who maybe knows it’s not happening and is lacking in confidence. A killer for a striker.

Everyone’s touch just seems a bit off, not sure if that’s the conditions or not?

It’s just going to be a lottery up there today, 45mph wind and rain. I’ve never in my life seen a good football game in high winds. I’ve always felt that high winds should cancel games, it’s ver near impossible to play attractive football in it. I’d be content with a draw today

I might have missed this in previous discussions but how many games will we be missing Maswanhise? I know he’ll be away and out for the Rangers and Celtic games. Gutted to be losing him as these are big games at an important time. Maybe RCC might come in and play his role? It’s a tough ask.

This has been the only time that I can ever remember feeling different. I really can’t stand St Mirren and the antics of their fans after the semi. Also the antics of their manager, their players and comments from our ex captain etc etc im sure next week prior to the game I might change my mind but I’m still annoyed by them.
