To much of this resting player nonsense and worrying about them being fit for the cup final, exactly the same tactics as what Derek McInnes did with St Johnstone prior to us pumping them in the semi!! I'm gutted i wasn't at the game today, just caught up with the highlights and the actions of Mr J Boyle. I have to say as a Motherwell supporter through and through i am disturbed by how gay our chairman looked!! Whispering in broons ear and doing a runny....is not the actions of a credible man!! truth be told wee broon or knox shouldve lamped him, and i for one couldnt have argued!! I'm always critical about one thing or another but i cant complain today, all worked their arses off and deserved to at least take it to extra time, i felt we were teh better team today. The whole set up just stinks!! i congratulate the reps from Dundee Utd and Killie for standing up and coming up with a better more radicle solution to the durge that is Scottish Football at the moment. Ive watched Motherwell for 30 yrs and have never been so bored by the game and the people in charge, this includes the people in charge of our own club!! Football and more importantly football fans have changed, i have a 6 yr old who plays and likes playing football but trying to get him to fir park is a total chore, he says its too cold and miserable!! as do the majority of weans (our future fans) feel!! Maybe kids are not as hardy as they have been in the past and are too used to being pampered but this is the way of things!! We are crying out for summer football, seasons from March to November, and for the years there are World Cups/ Euros, start a few weeks earlier and end a few weeks later!! If anything if we do qualify as a nation the players will be half way through the season, sharp and not jaded at the end of an arduous season!! Sky i'm sure would be back in the equasion as they would have around 4 months of football free telly as the english season would close, crowds would go up, kids would attend in their strips, i can only see positives from summer football!! Ditch the 2 leagues of 10 idea, a greedy idea for the bigger clubs, 16 team league in summer where young players can come through will work !! my 30 yrs of supporting may be gone due to my apathy along with many others i know who support many other clubs!!

The fact when he covers the Rangers games on telly he still uses "We" when talking about them means he can f*k off!! Big Butcher had a big Career at Ibrox and never once did that after he left them!! I do get behind the team and i never go to a game and boo anyone, especially our players.......its just i've now watched Stephen Craigan continually make f*k ups to cause us games for 10yrs now, through giving away penalties, indecisive decisions and an overall lack of ability!! and ok, he's got 50 caps for the Irish....yada yada yada.........i just get exhausted watching him every week!! I apologise to all the posters here who believe he is a wonderful talent!! still 4th place at this time of season is an excellent achievment, well done lads (i like to end on a positive)

If anyone can enlighten me it'd be appreciated but as far as i'm aware we cannot sell Fir Park for housing!! Fir Park was Given to Motherwell over 100 yrs ago by the Duke of Hamilton to be used as a recreational area only (motherwell not owning the land outright)!! By law, which i presume hasn't changed the land is solely for recreation purposes!! Similar to what Cathkin Park is, Third Lanarks old ground (For which Tesco tried to buy the ground years back but ended up not buying due to not being able to build on it!! i think if we move it will not be with any money from the sale of fir park!! And i doubt Boyle will wish to use his own money to build his 6000 seater dream shoe box!!

Completely agree with you over Craigan, the guy seems to get heeps of praise off some people on here but he's done, best seasons were years ago, even then he was a limited, but Reynolds has something in him if he were playing alongside a better player or a Saunders or Hutchinson!! i could never criticise a player playing alongside Craigan as he's basically doing 2 jobs!! He should stick to his pundit role on the TV as he seems to think he's Franz Beckenbauer!! His driven passes into the stands are a joy to watch!!

What a desperate game, 2 teams that dont look very good and both look knackered!! I hate harping on about Craigan but we always look like we'll lose goals with him playing, he's been all over the place, he let Maloney in for his 1st chance and his positioning and distribution is dire!! And i wish i had a wee clicky thing to check how many times he balloons the ball out of play, every f*king game, no-one near him yet he pings it right into the crowd...it would be laughable if it wasn't so annoying!!

Why the Fuck is Blackman not playing? and Sutton is in!! sutton never scores against better teams!! Blackman has pace and can damage that defence, he was unfortunate with his chances the other night!! i think Brown's hogging our midfield and it'll be a negative performance!! we should be having a go at Celtic today!!

Randolph was at fault with the 1st goal, inswinging crosses into the box he cant deal with!! Rooted to his goal line!! Craigan is way too slow and his distribution is god awful........How bad are Northern Irish centre halfs if he's still their top choice!! 2nd goal was embarrassing!! Midfield needs fixed badly, way too slow!! ok Humphreys is quick but so is usain bolt, i'm guessing he cant cross a ball either!! Lasley.....too slow, no vision...tries hard tho Jennings........too slow, creates nothing!! Hateley.....been to the gym too much, has got slower!! plus side, we're still in the tie, and odense aren't that good apart from djemba dude and utaka who will cause us problems due to our frailties above!!

What's happened to him? I know he had a bad injury last season but as far as i'm aware he's over it now and fully recovered. Does Craig Brown not rate him? When he broke through last year he was immense, in my 30yrs of watching Motherwell i haven't seen as much potential in any young defender we've had!! that's including the Likes of Boyd, McCart, Wishart, McMillan etc. I really hope the lad gets back in the 1st team cos in my opinion he was a class act, and way better than the likes of Craigan.
