Really sad news!! I used to live next to his Granny up the Clyde Valley and as a kid i spent many a Summers night playing Headers,Flicks and Volleys with him and his brother!! Great Motherwell fan and a top guy!!! Thoughts go to his family!!

I feel very sorry for Forbes, i actually think he's got a lot of ability and is a way better technically than the likes of Lasley and Jennings. I think he's just not had a manager who's believed in him since Gannon left, after he went his performances dipped....not because he was too cocky, i think he just lost confidence!! McCall has never rated him so i think it was inevitable he was going to go but we have an ageing Midfielder in Lasley and Jennings will leave to go back south at some stage and Forbes could still do us a job, I like Carswell but he's not as good as Forbes imo. Good Luck to him anyway, i have a feeling he'll be back to bite us in the arse at some stage!!

Well done to the big fella, he's had to take shit from fans at the start of the season, hopefully he's won most of them over and in my opinion he's the main reason we're sitting ready to qualify for the Champions League!! 16 goals from a Motherwell Striker in his first season......not many have done that.....Legend!!

Once again another spineless pathetic display against the old firm, we definately have a mental issue going on against them by both management and players!! Really poor stuff today!! Hopefully they will all be shamed into putting a huge effort into next weeks match, they have a chance to get to the Champions League, something i doubt as supporters we,ll ever see again and i doubt any of those players are good enough ever to have a chance like this again!! I still feel 2 wins will secure it....Hard week of training in store for them i feel.....time to fight!!

It's never good to hear supporters arguing with players family members, thats embarrassing!! However Mr Hateley deserves a bit of stick this season as he does not merit the status of "automatic choice" as he always seems to be!! In my opinion he's actually a very poor defender. Going back to the argument thing, i think its a terrible idea that the Players and Players families have to sit with the away supporters as there's always going to be drunk fu*kwits spouting p*sh!! Surely they can get a few tickets allocated for the Main stand!! I remember Andy Roddie and his burd suffering a 90 min verbal assault at Ibrox when he was sitting amongst us, quite a number of our fans even apologised to him after the game, totally humiliating!!

Took my boy to his first ever away game today!! Wish I hadn't bothered, terrible performance, a real lack of any urgency and non belief. Passmarks only really to Randolph and i felt Humphrey looked ok when he had the ball!! Whats happened to Ojaama?? Stop reading your own press mate and get your game sorted out!! Plus side for our big support down there today, utterly exceptional (apart from the drunk guy who spat when he talked, continually shouting "c*nt" and "f**kin Scum" in the ear of my 6yr old all game....FUD) Minutes silence impecable and great respect shown......well done!!

Thought the 3 young lads were exceptional today after an initial shaky opening 10 mins or so!! Carswell put in so much work in the Midfield and got the better of an experienced player like Rae, in my opinion!! Fantastic performance!! Mention for Humphrey as well, roasted that left back all day, was a brilliant outlet!! i'll not mention his final ball at times tho!!

Just spoke to my father who was at the game yesterday, he's 76 yrs old and he's the first to complain about idiot supporters, but yesterday he said he couldn't believe the police and stewards attitude!! He said it was just a bunch of wee guys being a bit of a pain in the arse but not causing any harm!! some of the older supporters moved out their road and sat and watched the game along from them. He said there was no harm being done and actually said the wee guys were adding a bit of atmosphere to the place until the police got heavy handed and grabbed a few and chucked them out. As i say this is from an old man who would be the first to say if our fans were being offensive and aggrivating people, and he said they weren't....good enough for me!!

I have to say after the last Rangers game i stated i'd refuse to go back to another old firm game with McCall in charge!! His demeanour and attitude against this pair is always a Defeated man. He never seems to be fired up for it and this vibe rubs off on the players, who are always second to everything against them!! In saying that i rarely stick to my guns and i'm pretty much weak!! therefore...........I'm Going!!!!! yeah, canny wait!!

Hateley will make a defender the day i become President of Azbekerstan......and Clancy, i think we viewed today why Kilmarnock were not willing to put him in their first team!! I dont want to even start on the midfield or our Lone Forward....sky sports stats were on him today and in the 90 minutes of Messi like movement from Higdon, he ran 37.5 yards.....quite the shift he put in!! Why does McCall even bother giving the players shorts to wear against the Old Firm? Just tell them to go out bend over and take what they get!! Negative side packing the midfield and hoping for the best!! Why would you want to go and pay to watch this!! Quite agree and the self belief statement was spot on.....How many times this week have we heard McCall talk about how good Rangers are and they have "class all over the field" and even minutes before kick off he's going on about how we lost 20 odd goals against them last year!! This is hardly a spur on to the players!! That Rangers team, along with Celtic are the poorest old firm teams ive saw in over 30yrs, we should have been going in to that game today giving them no respect and got steamed into them, instead we held off them playing tippy tappy football with no guts or will to win!! At no point did we look like we'd take anything of them today!! Thoroughly disappointed in todays performance!!

Best memory, and i have to say by a mile, was the Dortmund experience (not so much the home game tho) The utterly amazing Westfalen Stadium Full to the rafters and the 1200 Motherwell fans outsinging 55000 Dortmund fans for 90 mins!! We Totally outplayed the future champions of Europe and were so unlucky not to come away from there with a few goal lead!! Definately my Proudest ever Motherwell moment....Tommy Coyne ma lord!!

He got knocked out in training on Tuesday, apparently collided his head off a goalpost!! knocked clean out!! Due to health and insurance regs he cant do anything for 7 days!! should be back for next week.....thank god!!

I think Killie will surprise a lot of people this season, they are no mugs and they have a decent manager there!! I think we will be fighting it out for 4th place with them and Dundee Utd this year!! Very Good away point......Still top of the League pissin down on the old firm scum!!

Smith and Mchugh are young and i hate being harsh on young players but i dont see either of them winning a permanent place in the first team any time soon!! If we lose Murphy we're struggling!! Dont think many of you would agree but i'd be back down to Blackburn in a shot to get Blackman!! He didnt do well at Aberdeen ok, but who has in the past 20yrs? He was outstanding with us and he still has another 2 yr contract left at Blackburn with slim hope of being a first team player!! He'd guarantee 15 goals for us and would be a good foil for the immobile Higdon!! But lets hope Murphy stays for the season as i think him and Law will be great to watch !!

Best Display by Hammell in years, outstanding today!! I dont think its a coincidence that he played well as Law was in front of him, If Law hadnt ran out of steam in the 2nd half i think he'd have got the man of the match from me!! I remember how Tom Boyd got stale at Fir Park and had been torture to watch until Cooper signed then he became an exceptional full back!! I'm not saying Law is a Cooper but he's a clever ball player with great awareness, i think him and Hammel will give teams a nightmare down the left hand side this season!! Wee Murphy deserves a mention again as he's improving with confidence every week, McCall deserves a bit of credit for this as well i think!!
