CoF
I know it's at Hampden but would this be your first choice of grounds for the semi? I can see both sides of the argument, it would be great to play in front of a full house somewhere but I'm sure to some of the players part of the reward should be walking out at Hampden. After tonights performance I'm no really geein a fuck either way the now.

Finlay
Hampden as chances to play there don't come around that often.

something else
Common sense says this game has to be played away from hampden. Think we'll be lucky to get 15,000 between the 2 clubs so the game should be played at tynecastle.
gordy
Whit ye on about, we're there all the time. Hampden would be great but how many fans will be there? The atmosphere for the Celtic semi and replay in 91 was brilliant as were the semis against Rangers in 2004??? and this season. I still think the atmosphere at the Hearts semi at Easter Road was phenomenal, so, I think we could have it at Easter Road or Tynecastle, To be honest I couldn't give a feck where we play it, another semi final and a great chance of getting to the Final. Well_Jaggy
hampden please. or any stadium this side of Motherwell! not going to embra.
East_Stand_Al
Hampden gets my vote every time, the National Stadium adds to the sense of occasion !
mwellhighland
Easter Road please Stadium will be bouncing whereas Hampden will be 2/3rds empty
Wellarmy
Hampden by a mile. Bigger pitch = more space for Humphrey and Murphy to get into and do some damage. Couldn't care less if theres only 15000 there aslong as we get to the final thats all that matters!
LadywellToi
Will the revenues for both semi's be split evenly between the 4 teams same as the CIS?
Gaag
As far as I know ALL scottish cup semi finals are at Hampden?!?
The_Craig
I'd take Easter Road. Pretty sure it would be full and rocking. However, I think the tractor boys will want their day out at Hampden and tbh, fair play to them. Don't think it will be moved.
stuwell
Got to be hampden for me - I've got my wifes brothers wedding on the day of the final so this will be my chance to support the team at hampden.
Mad Dog
Hampden for finals only, shouldn't be for the nearly-men.
Ian-in-Oz
National stadium for the national final for me. Having to make the final to get on the hallowed turf gives it more meaning. I think the funds have to be split between the four teams as you can't have a team making or losing thousands of pounds just on the luck of the draw. Fal_Dosser
Already looking forward to trip to Hampden, but if I had a preference I'd take Easter Road - I reckon ER would entice more neutrals and 15-20000 there would be a cracking atmosphere. Still wherever it is, bring it on MON RA DOSSERS
David
Hampden gets my vote every time, the National Stadium adds to the sense of occasion ! My thoughts as well. A trip to Hampden is always something special, whilst a trip to Edinburgh is a hassle more than anything else.
underboyleheating
Hampden for me, as to be honest I think we have a better chance of beating St.Johnstone on a slightly bigger surface.
fat_tony
I'm not too bothered either way but Tynecastle/Easter Road would be nice and handy for me. I can see the argument either way though. As a fan, a full house would be amazing.
Malky79
Shouldn't be Hampden, or if it is Hampden make it pay at the gate and £10 to get in.
Wellfan1984
For me Hampden is for cup finals, home internationals and Queen's Park home games. Saying that the SFA decided before hand, Hampden is the venue so it would be unfair not to allow them to play there. Saying that, hopefully the clubs and authorities won't put us in the total opposite stand from the Saints. Start selling tickets for North Stand Section C for one side and section D for the other and work our way round the stadium.
underboyleheating
Just checked our head to head record against St Johnstone on soccerbase. Motherwell Wins 67 Draws 29 St Johnstone Wins 37 7 of those wins came in the Scottish Cup with St Johnstone winning 2. The League Cup was much tighter with us winning 4 and St Johnstone 3. Fal_Dosser
One of my early memories of following the Well was the St Johnstone League Cup semi-final - would be nice to finally make good that result, regardless of where it's played MON RA DOSSERS
