ML1
The years that any celtic fan observed a minutes silence without bursting into abusive shoite Cant be that , 1999 was the year the loveable craicsters desecrated the Hillsborough minutes silence the day we played them at the piggery (and as soon as they trace those responsible theyll be getting banned ...) Mad Mac
All years in which Celtic never won either of the Cups Bingo! Since World War II, Celtic haven't won a national cup final played in the same year as a Royal wedding. Full details: 1947 – Wedding of Princess Elizabeth & Prince Philip. One Scottish Cup Final and two League Cup finals, did not play in any. 1973 – Wedding of Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips, Lost Scottish Cup Final (Rangers) and League Cup Final (Dundee). 1981 – Wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer. Did not play in either final. 1986 – Wedding of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson. Did not play in Scottish Cup Final, lost League Cup Final (Rangers). 1999 – Wedding of Prince Edward and Sophie Rhys-Jones. Lost Scottish Cup Final (Rangers), no League Cup Final played in 1999. LadywellToi
After tonight they might not get anything this year, now that would be interesting. On one had the result in Inverness shows us and the team they shouldn't fill us with fear (that is if they didn't know that already) and are there for the taking. However If they lose the league its safe to say they will be pumped and under a lot of pressure to deliver at least one trophy (again, that may count in our favour). I'd prefer Europe to be tied up before the Cup Final. Big changes from back in Feb when they were all over Rangers in the two Scottish Cup games, to now, relinquishing their lead on the title, beaten in the CIS and about to be gubbed by the lowly Steelmen. Ian-in-Oz
Why's this in club chat? Royal weddings & Celtic's cup history has got what to do with Motherwell?

That's a bit too clever for me.
Mad Mac
Why's this in club chat? Royal weddings & Celtic's cup history has got what to do with Motherwell? Given that we're playing them in a cup final in a couple of weeks, in the same year as a Royal Wedding and they've already lost one domestic cup final this year..... Creasy
True. 2005 has blown this out of the water. Guess we won't be winning the cup anymore, if you believe that sort of thing....
