Kat
Decided to purchase a book which has some cracking old pics of Scottish football stadiums. Some of Fir Park mainly the main stand, apart from one of these hadn't seen the others. I love how they made use of the gap to hang out the washing. The book is called 'Lifted over the Turnstiles'.

Andy_P
If and when we do move from Fir Park we should definitely incorporate some kind of replication of that entrance at the new stadium as a nod to the past.

When I saw in this year's accounts that we still trade under The Motherwell Football and Athletic Club Limited, that made me happy. Seeing the "portholes" and the Athletic Club logo when you approached Fir Park was all part of the experience.

I only ask because Falkirk wore their "Blackburn" style strip that day. He was the most elegant player we had in the late 50s and early 60s and an internationalist. When I was a shaver, I always looked for him and Charlie Aitken to do something special when we were in trouble. By contrast, Andy Weir looked so old and lined after his terrible accident that I was quite scared of him as a wee boy. I met Willie (Billy to his family) quite recently in the John Lewis restaurant with his charming wife and he was still sharp as a tack. He works with a dementia group, visiting sufferers, and writes poetry for children. Top guy.
