Yir Elder
Don't suppose anyone is going from Motherwell or Wishaw and is willing to give me a lift? Cheers in advance folks.
David
I was going to go, but it is a hell of a jaunt from Wishaw to Shotts at that time of night, especially without a car.
The_Craig
I'm walking to a 'Well game from the house! It's a novelty.
bogsideloyal
What time is k.o. and any ideas how strong a team we will be putting out?
wee g
What time is k.o. and any ideas how strong a team we will be putting out? Think it will be the under 19`s, the 1st team have a day off today.
David
We shouldn't be looking at risking any of the first team in a pre-season kickabout in Shotts three days before the season starts anyway.

Noah Dosser
Very much an u/19 side with only exception being McKinnon who came on as a 2nd half sub. Game finished 1-0 to Shotts. Well had penalty saved by Shotts keeper then conceded an own goal in even 1st half. 2nd half best chances probably fell to Well but couldn't convert. Good workout again for the youngsters. StipeIsGod
Remarkable that we played a team against which we fielded an XI. I thought only the bigger teams did that.
Andy_P
Not really to be honest. It's generally been the done thing for many a year to have an 'XI' in games against junior or non-league sides. In fact if you go back to the heady days if the 44 game Premier League campaign in the 80's and early 90's you'd have two Motherwell 'XI's' playing on the same night - now that was a dilemma as to what game you went to! StipeIsGod
Cool stuff Andy In my experience the only XIs have been Mancs, Reds, Chelsea etc, so that bit of info is rather nice.
