Class top but I always associate a strip with the team that wore it and that just screams out "Malpas" to me and as a result it gives me the fear.

I think I might be the only one that still hates that top.

 

I am hoping for a return to a claret away strip next season though.

I am hoping for a return to a white top, claret shorts, white socks with C&A bands on the top away strip next season though. Similar to the Admiral 70's kit.

 

UBH you got any pics or mock ups of that kit?

The word 'anglian' was enough to prevent me from buying this shirt, shame because it is a really nice design.

I liked the "Malpas" strip but odd as it sounds, I think it looked much much better when it was worn with long sleeves.

 

On the long sleeved version the white collar looks a bit more like it should belong when you can see the white cuffs. The band around the arms looks much nicer too with much more space about it.

 

On the short-sleeved version it's all a little bit cramped on the arms. I actually thought it looked better on the short sleeve version worn the way Scott McDonald did...

Agreed but with one alteration. The socks should be amber with two claret hoops at the top. First and best strip i ever owned . God bless my maw and paw for buying me it in the mid sixties.

Don't think this will be far from it to be honest.

Wolves & Chesterfield Puma kits released last couple of days both with same template.

 

Not great not terrible in my opinion.

Always hard to tell from pics.

 

Do prefer claret shorts though!

We are certainly due another black away kit, so it wouldn’t surprise me. Personally I have always favoured white away kits with subtle hints of C&A.

Chesterfield had three away designs supplied by Puma to pick from.

A black and claret version of option 3 would do nicely for the away kit.

 

Always favour a white shirt but we are due a black one.

If it is this template, I reckon it will probably be black and white similar to the Chesterfield mock up.

Hammell has tweeted to say that he and Lasley did the photoshoot for the new strips today so hopefully we'll see some photos soon.

 

He didn't hint at all about what they looked like but said he liked the home one more than away.

Not too dissimilar to to our 2010/11 kit that. Like the quirkiness of the neck feature though...
