Probably won't happen as we need to follow Puma templates. However we could release a one off retro similar to some previous tops sold through the club shop.

The 1913 one can be bought from Topps Toffs, requesting them for one without the Bradford City badge ............. which is what I'm off to do right now.

my favourite is from the 2006-07 season, though i'm young an can only really mind of the ones from 96 onwards

Traditional option for me please.

 

I'm not so particular that I would demand a claret "hoop" rather than just a claret "band" but personally as long as we have either of those on our home strip I'm generally happy and you can mess about with claret/white/amber shorts and have whatever kind of collar you see fit.

 

And if we get that then I'm fairly relaxed about what they do with the second and third kits.

 

I can understand why the club might want to do something different once in a while for commercial reasons if nothing else.

 

I remember as far back as Alan Dick's time as secretary he offered the theory that a hoopless/bandless/radical kit once in a while would stimulate sales as it would be sufficiently different from the traditional to tempt folk to buy it. And when that kit itself was replaced by the traditional kit again because it was similarly sufficiently different from the last so more bought it.

 

How true that is I don't know but it kind of makes sense albeit my personal preference would still be to go down the traditional route every time.

I really like the socks used in 1959-1960 season. I wouldn't mind a return to white shorts tae. I'd also like to see the sash brought back for at least one season. The black alternate strip we used back in 2005 is easily my most favourite Motherwell strip I've seen.

Yes, good grief, yes. I fucking LOVE that strip. Definitely my favourite, although the petrol blue effort is close.

The very first kit I saw us play in was the 1960s kit. For me the white shorts make it. They really show up the claret and amber jersey.
