TAM
Just back from picking kids up near FP - snow not to bad. Could be wrong but no sign of bubble, can usually see it through gaps!! Just to back up my own post it appears that both heaters for the bubble had faults. These faults were fixed late yesterday and the bubble is up and working. There is a doubt over the pitch but should be ok so long as no further faults develop.
Gaag
so... once again, it begs a question I've never heard an actual answer for... do we, or do we not have a working undersoil heating system?

Deaddogman
so... once again, it begs a question I've never heard an actual answer for... do we, or do we not have a working undersoil heating system? As I have said in previous threads, I'm sure there is a clue in the words spoken by Mark mcGhee after the hearts fiasco........................" The pitch was fine on friday, and , the USH was working perfectly, all gauges were showing the correct pressures and to take an extra precaution we also put the covers down" or words to that effect
happyslappy
I saw from the BBC clip it was minus 7 when they paraded Semih and Sheridan. With the bad weather, how are things looking with the pitch? Anyone got any info? I suppose that Inverurie set a precedent so there won't be any criticism if th match is off due to the weather. Special aka
they're expecting -10 in Aviemore overnight, and on top of all that snow. Guess that's any hope of heading south early on Sat morning scuppered.

Special aka
i was thinking of heading down tomorrow night pie, you not recommend it? You not see North Tonight ......... all roads south were shut most of the day. Ice then heavy snow falls then -10 = staying at home if you ask me. Have been up/down that A9 often enough to know that it spring a few surprises when the weather is fine ..... let alone horrendous. Your call mate, but I'm sure your mother would say "be safe"

Shotts Well Fan
Getting train at 9.30 from Aberdeen so I hope there is no last minute change in plans. Flow I assume the pitch is in a playable condition and not expected to deterioate (not holding you to an official position by the way, just want to avoid shelling out a ton for my train tickets)
Gaag
I'd imagine if the bubble is up and fully operational then the game won't be in doubt.
