mfcmainstand
i was hoping it was going to be an archived one. just got worried when i seen that, dont they know we as motherwell fans have a nervous disposition when it comes to our park they should put some sort of disclaimer on those things. CoF
Reserve game against hibs two days ago was called off because of the snow on the pitch although I wonder how much effort they would have made to get the game on.

Yir Elder
We have snow in Netherton but not too horrendous. Sure the hot air balloon will keep the game on, presuming its in use.
KirkySuperSub
Seems like all over is getting it...I'm just back in the office in Cambuslang, having been out at Balloch earlier and it's pretty much the same all through... another number
I think it's supposed to be quite sunny towards the end of the week so I think there'll be more of a worry with the pitch freezing than snow. The old bubble will have it sorted, game on!
MFCGMFC
been snowing since i left work at teh back of 3 and not stopped since i'm only 3 miles from FP but i'm 100% positive the game will be on!! i have faith in the groundstaff!! Scarecrow
Pity the snow from earlier on this week didn't hang about. Back in the good old days it was the best pitch protection going, keeping the frost out of the ground, then everyone went down to FP early on matchday and took it all off, maybe getting a free pie into the bargain!! Players then stuck on the adidas trainers and away they went. The game's gone soft these days.
TAM
Just back from picking kids up near FP - snow not to bad. Could be wrong but no sign of bubble, can usually see it through gaps!!

Rickoza
Good to see the covers on. Worst of the snow is possibly still to come, be interesting to see if it makes it this far south or fizzles out like the front did earlier. Neil
Our covers I'm sure only protect to -10, so they'll be pushing it if it gets that cold again and given the fact they were on for the Hearts game, it's a worry. Still, no pressure on us to get the game on, it's not SPL rules so we don't need to have USH turned on, and the SFA are happy to let games be played at any time. Tweed
If its as low as minus 10 then I don't think any USH would protect it enough. Just to wind the St Mirren fans on P and B up I almost hope its off. But thats snow good for us either especially when we still awaiting our fate from the Hearts one so best get it on unless it extreme. Robyn
Just went passed Fir Park about 10mins ago going to college, the balloon is up and Fir Park looks quite good in the snow effect, hids all the rustyness and dodgy paint work!
