I went for big Higdon, though was a toss up between him and Jennings.

 

Couldn't believe what I was hearing at times though, at one point someone behind us was shouting "Get your self back on side Higdon ya big lazy b@astard"

 

This was as Motherwell were taking a goal kick, proving that his critics clearly don't have a clue about football.

Won everything in the air and had some good link up play. Made a few important clearances from their corners as well.

Torn between Higdon and Jennings. Thought big Higgy won everything and his knock-ons and passing play was top notch. Only wish he tried a mad overhead kick when he chested the ball down in the box.

 

Jenno ran the midfield. His last gasp tackle was outstanding. And he never got booked by that big fanny Brines (Wa-hey!)

Jenno and randolf both had excellent games but going for jenno.

 

Thought higdon & craigan also had good games but the rest were poor.

 

Who voted for hutchison thought he was rank today? Two big mistakes almost led to united goals.

Great to see Jennings at the top of his game. Would love to see him and a fit Stef Hughes playing together.

Randolph - coped very well with the nightmare conditions and made some difficult/key saves look very straightforward.

Didn't really think there was a stand out but I'd probably go for Nicky Law who I thought was neat and tidy in poor conditions.

Between Jennings and Higdon for me but in the end. gave my vote to the big baldy! Put in a power of work and fought for everything. Some nice passes and flick ons, just a shame nobody was moving off him with any effectiveness.

Just shows you that 2 people can see the same game very differently. I thought Law was poor on Saturday, but obviously the conditions played a part in that.

I don't think Law has been hitting the heights he did in his first few games recently, but I did think he was one of our better players on Saturday.
