Modernist
Just got this message fae a mate of mine who is a die hard Hibby. Fair play to all involved. A wee word of praise has to go to Motherwell FC. Alan Marshall has been superb with Hibs fans that never got vouchers after the recent game was abandoned due to floodlight failure. It now looks like there could be around 3,000 Hibby's for the rearranged game a week on Wednesday. :-)

SuperSteelman
Why we're giving away free tickets to junkie hibs fans Don't see the problem here, more than their fair share in our support will be getting free tickets too. Should be a great atmosphere for this game. Looking forward to it.
texanwellfan
i have mentioend a couple of times in differnt threads.............. Just open the gates and make it free. No vouchers no tickets. they got the money from the first gate. sbcmfc
It effectively is a free for all, you just need a ticket so they know who's coming. Everyone at the 1st game should have a voucher, including most season ticket holders who don't need them, would be great if a near full house turned up!! For a start the Police would not agree and what they say goes. Secondly folk who had paid for tickets would complain in large numbers. joewarkfanclub
Why we're giving away free tickets to junkie hibs fans Hope thats a wind up. If not its a poor post and the kind of insular attitude thats killing Scottish Football. If we want to drive attendances up instead of down we have to encourage ALL supporters to come back to the game. The club has taken the lead in this and if we can show it works others might follow, and who knows WE might start to get treated better at away grounds. Looking forward to the game. Hopefully a big crowd and good atmosphere driving both teams on to an entertaining game. Its up to us to ensure WE encourage our team onto a good win. Here's hoping the club have enough pies and programmes in to maximise the earning potential and cover a few new contracts!

Colleague at work is a Hibee and has been very impressed by the way Motherwell have managed this one. He was at the first game with his son and contacted the club to find out what to do about the re-played game. Club took his details and told him not to worry that they would arrange to send him vouchers nearer the time of the re-arranged game. They duly arrived last week and he is mightily impressed wit oue club - said if this had been Hibs it would have been a shambles. He has droppped an email to them thanking them. We are always quick to have a go at the club so its nice to be able to praise them too.
CoF
It's only a good thing that our club creates a positive impression with opposition fans. Good experiences like this will only get more folk through the gate.
