daver
Anyway, in the BBC's report on last night's game McCall says we didn't make much money from the tie but the cut in TV money is nothing like as much as feared so he's looking to see if he can bring someone in. Stuart McCall
Anyway, in the BBC's report on last night's game McCall says we didn't make much money from the tie but the cut in TV money is nothing like as much as feared so he's looking to see if he can bring someone in. A midfielder must be the priority i think, now that Cummins has shown he is well capable of playing in the 1st team and with Ramsden signed i think our defense is looking decent. Whether its a Jennings type midfielder or a wide player and allowing Law to continue playing central i dont know, think the team is crying out for a wee boost and a good creative player would give us a bit of spark that we had last year,
ropy
A fox in the box is surely needed then we may be encouraged to slip a ball through rather than pass it back to half way
Tam Servo
Free agents Some smashing players still without clubs, Mikael Forssell anyone?
Well-Made
Had a look there to see what Centre Forwards were free and some of their stats suggest to me they could be done under trading standards for pretending to be strikers. Some of them haven't hit the back of the net in 3 or 4 years.

ONeils40yarder
Murphy, Higdon, McHugh and Ojamma can all play centre-forward/striker, so thats the last thing I think we need, particularly with the formation that McCall plays ie 1 up top. I'd prefer any money was spent on bring a centre-midfielder in to the squad or a wide man that would allow us to stop relying on bring Daley on. Wishielad
Or Faddy? More likely to be Darren Stephenson http://www.thepfa.co...bydate/-1/-1/6/

Well-Made
More likely to be Darren Stephenson http://www.thepfa.co...bydate/-1/-1/6/ Looks like we'd need to pay a fee for that one as he's transfer listed, so we should dodge that one. Lobey_Dosser
Craig Forsyth ex Dundee, now Watford, has been linked with a loan move to a host of SPL clubs. McCall was interested in him last summer.

Lobey_Dosser
Left winger, played against us in Scottish cup when we won 4-0.
MelvinBragg
Wouldn't surprise me if we make a move for him. I still believe Murphy will leave so another wing option would be welcome. Would like another body in centre midfield though. As promising as Carswell and Hetherington look, I wouldn't want to put the pressure on them if Lasley or Law were to be injured... siebsbarmyarmy
Would love to see Forsyth at Fir Park, tall pacy and skilful with an eye for goal. Can't see it tho, bound to be heading to Hibs or Hearts!

Well 4 Europe
No offence to the lad but I hope this isn't Fraser Kerr. We've already got decent defensive cover even with Saunders out and hopefully McCall can see we're lacking more in other areas.
one m in motherwell
*crosses fingers * Please be a left sided midfielder...

one m in motherwell
Welcome aboard. Although fingers crossed we can bring in a midfielder too - desperately need a genuine left-sided player who doesn't have to cut in every time he gets the ball! I'm sure his quote on the official site regarding not playing straight away is lifted straight from Champ Man.

weesacs
does this mean we might see Ramsden move into a holding midfield role? Or Hateley into midfield? or did McCall like the look of a back 5??
Guest
Or that Hutchinson is away? Either way, good news, more bodies is good news. Anyone seen him, or know what he's like as a centre-half?
