Jay
I'll tell you what, MJC, how about if McFadden signs for us you leave this forum for good? No chance. In the last couple of seasons MJC has unfortunately went from a naturally pessimistic (and possibly depressed) yet sometimes interesting random on Steelmen Online, to a boring caricature of himself who obviously thrives on being "known" as Mr Negativity. Steelmen Online fame has changed him.

Steelmen Online fame has changed him. His gimmick is too 2008/2009 for my tastes. Outdated, predictable, and very boring. Needs a new angle. Last post by:
Financial hardship and introducing Scottish youngsters seem to go hand in hand together yet, out of all the squad yesterday (who either started or appeared as a substitute.) Only 3 were born in Scotland. Think in this time of austerity we should be looking to get some good young Scottish talent into the squad.

nethertonwellfan
The fact that it was Everton meant that the crowd was bigger. They brought up a decent support with them, more than a Partick Thistle or an Old Firm select would have brought. As for Faddy, he will be in the squad for the St Mirren game. Only my opinion MJC. You may indeed end up being right but you have to be sometime. If you were right all the time we would be playing 3rd division football just now. Cup finals and champions league qualifiers would be nothing but a pipe dream.

Dazzer
Here's how some Coventry fans reckon they'll line up. Please note these people are much more qualified to judge how he will fit into their team. If you do feel that you are better qualified, being an all knowing fountain of knowledge regarding the English League 1, feel free to reply. Coventry City Substitutes 13 Dunn 06 Malaga 25 Edjenguele 08 Baker 12 Jennings 11 McSheffrey 14 Elliott
Wellfan1984
You really are an idiot. It's the second game or such of the season. Don't you think you should wait till end if season before seeing if you were remotely close to being right.... Anyway one of the Hibs forums have claimed they have put the bid in for Law.... We didn't need him to post that to show he's an idiot. Just one more piece of evidence to show he knows nothing about football. Presumably if Van Persie doesn't start for Man U, it's because he isn't good enough for the EPL.

MelvinBragg
Am I the only one who thinks that if we're going to bring in someone before the close of the transfer window that we're better to wait til after Thursday rather than try and integrate a new signing into the side just before a big game? Obviously the exception would be McFadden as he has been training with the players already but my understanding is that there won't be a deal there... If integrating a new player into the side was going to be a problem we could easily sign him and just leave him out of the team for Thursday.
