steelboy
Would be absolutely magnificent if Law signs a new deal!!! can't see it happening sadly. there will be too much money on offer for him down south and it's possible that we won't even be able to match his current deal never mind offer him improved terms. best case scenario is that he keeps his recent form up, chips in with a few more goals and leaves the club in a strong position with the cash from second place and a europa tie to look forward to. Desp
Spot on from Steelboy. As much as I would love Nicky Law to sign a new contract, he'll be off down south in the summer for a bigger salary. And who could blame him? He has been a fantastic signing. Well 4 Europe
We have Kallum Higginbotham on trial ahead of a proposed loan move in January from Huddersfield according to the Sun. He's a forward/midfielder who use to play for Falkirk, his impressive form for Falkirk last season when they were knocking the likes of Rangers and Dundee United out the cup saw him win a move to Huddersfield for a six figure fee. Helped them up through the play offs but has struggled to make an impact as yet in the Championship. Hasn't kicked a ball for them this season but he has been farmed out on loan already this season to League 1 Carlisle. Looking at his career stats he looks like more of creator rather than a goal scorer. Was linked to both arse cheeks during his spell at Falkirk as well. Lobey_Dosser
I recall him being outstanding in a semi final against Celtic.
Desp
Same as Lobey for me. Only time I've saw him play is in the semi final against Celtic last year and he was outstanding. I think he'd fit into the Murphy position were he to move on.

Dazzer
27 Dec 2012 10:26:40 Crystal Palace boss Ian Holloway is ready to raid Champions League hopefuls Motherwell for speedy winger Jamie Murphy. The Scotland Under-21 cap turned down a switch to Blackpool in the last window, but could be up for a move south if he can agree terms with Palace. Motherwell if you include ZFA as first team would be losing 77% of the first team! Ouch.
steelboy
copy and pasted from stv news. i don't think there is much to interest us there. the only players who strike me as in our price range and not utter shite are iain davidson, darren barr, dylan mcgowan, nick ross, tudor-jones, aaron doran, james dayton, richard brittain and chris millar. nethertonwellfan
Its Ins and Outs Thread And you read it, and I actually think its interesting, and your already moaning about it, Priceless. It's not interesting if you know it's utter shite. Nothing from that site has ever come true therefore its reputation drops and subsequently people can't be arsed reading about it. It really is simple. If I want fiction I'll watch the telly, I read the ins and outs threads to see who is leaving and who is going. I take all rumours with a pinch of salt until I start hearing it from a few sources then I start to gain an interest in it and then when the player actually leaves/signs for us I begin to beleive it. When he has played a game I completely believe it (see Mike Grella). If that site was accurate Chris Humphrey would be a £2.5 million Liverpool player. Saying that, if we signed any of the above, I wouldn't be devastated. The others, well I wouldn't be fussed if we missed out. Also, on dazzers rumours site, I think there is an element of truth in the holloway one. Did he not try a cheeky last day bid for murphy last January too? £1.25m I believe? Bump it up to £3m and I'd pay his train fare to London! First class. And I'm a student. But, that site does seem to be complete bollocks in most other aspects. Some good negotiations, could see us lose one for two decent ones from the lower leagues and still be on a profit. Although, what there is to offer? I'm not sure. Maybe, I would seal one or two contracts! Think McCall and Leanne Dempster have a very tough four weeks ahead of them!

It was nowhere near 1.25 million, it was more like 250k and I could have came up with the Crystal Palace rumour due to it being the same manager. Well I got the .25 bit right Aye, that too. But for that. We can't exactly shoot down his rumour. It would be different if it was Gianfranco Zola trying to sign him for Watford, or Gus Poyet for Brighton as they have no previous connection. Personally, Martinez taking him to wigan seems more likely than him to palace given palaces financial woes of late.
