maplewell
Hutchinson,Saunders and Ojamma didn't come through our youth system in fact we've had a poor return in recent years . 'poor return in recent years' Jamie murphy seems to be doing alright for himself Yes hutch, saunders and Ojamaa did not come through our youth system, but i belive we are more of a team that takes young players and makes them into great prospects, with those three as great examples. A successful example of that is Ross McCormack.
wee g
if you had paid attention to my posts after the morton friendly in july you would have known bradley, mckinnon, halsman, lawless, smith and howarth were never good enough. anyone with their ear to the ground would have heard the nasty rumour about our youth development people being disciplined due to the amount of no hopers getting senior contracts. steelboy you must be serious contender for fool of the century with they statements. It took Mccall up to last week to decide if he could budget for 2 of the players you have mentioned above, but you could have saved McCall, MFC and most of all the guys you named money, effort and time. I`m a relative of one of they no-hopers you have named above and would like to know what makes you such an expert? And how many yrs you have earned a living from football, like they no-hopers. As for the youth development, murphy, saunders, hutchy, mcHugh, carswell, page, that`s a shocking return on our youth development
Stuart McCall
Jonny Hayes anyone? out of contract, wont have been on a big wage in Inverness and perhaps finally a decent left-footed midfielder. surely Motherwell a better prospect than Aberdeen.. Non-starter, Motherwell don't sign left sided midfielders... But that aside, aye I'd definitely take him, more money to be had elsewhere though no doubt. Then we'll lose his posts like when he was trying to explain why Pat Nevin = Fred Goodwin.

Joeboy
we've seen carswell because he's got the tools to play in the spl. if you had paid attention to my posts after the morton friendly in july you would have known bradley, mckinnon, halsman, lawless, smith and howarth were never good enough. anyone with their ear to the ground would have heard the nasty rumour about our youth development people being disciplined due to the amount of no hopers getting senior contracts. You must have really reasoned opinions on players. Tom Bradley never played in the Morton friendly in July. Was it the way he was sitting in the stand that you didn't like? Opinion. Null. Void. Welldaft Mk1
Would be absolutely gutted if Hutchinson left. Sadly he looks the most likely to leave, simply because we need to sell this summer and he would command (i hope) a decent fee. Spoke to our CExec last night in the Copper and she stated that the squad we ran this season means a forcast loss of several hundred 000, even factoring in finishing 3rd. Europe may give us a little slack, but it would explain (if the rumours are true) why out of contract players have been offered deals no better than they were on or even less..... Stuart McCall
Some decent players becoming free agents, along with some terrible ones, dont suppose we will be signing many, if any, but still: SPL Players out of contract in 2012 Aberdeen FC: Danny Uchechi, Darren Mackie, Fraser Fyvie (December), Jamie Langfield , Jordon Brown, Josh Magennis, Kari Arnason, Mark Reynolds, Rory McArdle, Yoann Folly, Mohammed Chalali Celtic FC: Andre Blackman, Daniel Majstorovic, Dominic Cervi, Du-Ri Cha, Fraser Forster, Glenn Loovens, Lukasz Zaluska, Mark Wilson, Pawel Brozek Dundee United FC: Danny Swanson, Dusan Pernis, Garry Kenneth, Paul Dixon, Robbie Neilson, Ross Smith, Scott Robertson, Steve Banks Dunfermline Athletic: Alex Keddie, Andy Dowie, Andy Kirk, Chris Smith, David Graham, Gary Mason, Iain Turner, Kevin Rutkiewicz, Kyle Hutton, Liam Buchanan, Mark Kerr, Martin Hardie, Nick Phinn, Steven Bell, Steven McDougall, Austin McCann Heart of Midlothian FC: Craig Beattie, Danny Thomson, David Obua, Gary Glen, Ian Black, Jordan Morton, Marian Kello, Matthew Park, Rudi Skacel, Stephen Elliott, Suso Hibernian FC : Garry O'Connor, George Francomb, Graham Stack, James McPake, Leigh Griffiths, Lewis Stevenson, Mark Brown, Matt Doherty, Richie Towell, Roy O'Donovan, Tom Soares, Ian Murray Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC: Billy McKay, Chris Hogg, Claude Gnakpa, David Proctor, Greg Tansey, Gregory Tade, Jonny Hayes, Jonny Tuffey, Kenny Gillet, Owain Tudur Jones, Roman Golobart, Ross Tokely, Ryan Esson, Sam Winnall, Shane Sutherland, Steve Williams, Thomas Piermayr Kilmarnock FC: Alex Pursehouse, Ben Gordon, Danny Buijs, Danny Racchi, David Silva, Dean Shiels, Garry Hay, James Dayton, James Fowler, Lewis Toshney, Matthew Kennedy, Mohamadou Sissoko, Manuel Pascali Rangers FC: Andrew Mitchell, Andy Little, Christopher Hegarty, David Healy, Gordon Dick, Kyle Bartley, Salim Kerkar, Sasa Papac, Scott Gallacher, Sone Aluko St. Johnstone FC: Alan Mannus, Alan Maybury, Chris Millar, Cillian Sheridan, Francisco Sandaza, Jack Compton, James Keatings, Jamie Adams, Kudus Oyenuga, Lee Croft, Marcus Haber, Michael Hart, Murray Davidson, Peter Enckelman, Stephen Reynolds, Jody Morris St. Mirren FC: Adam McHugh, Alan Cairns, David van Zanten, Graeme Smith, Hugh Murray, Jeroen Tesselaar, Joe McKee, Nigel Hasselbaink, Steven Thomson *Also has though who's loan ends but don't become free agents included. Kmcalpin
also would take big Haber from St J, decent young player Not well thought of in Perth - he's big but thats about it. Liam Craig, Murray Davidson & Dave MacKay would be better bets but they're all under contract, and Davidson would not come to us anyway. Guest
that haber looked 1 of the worst players ive seen when we last played st johnstone he was murder Absolutely on the money, he's brutal. Long list of folk I wouldn't want at Fir Park there with the free transfers there as well. That Dunfermline list highlighting exactly why they went down. Hayes is probably the best of the semi-realistic ones, and even at that, pushing it.
Juan Kerse
From the out of contract SPL players get Sone Aluko, Dean Shiels and big Momo Sissoko signed for the Champions League dream team!!
