Basically sign up for Flying Blue as soon as you have tickets booked, and then upgrade to Flying Blue Petroleum. Qualifying details are 1 return flight per year from an "oil centre" or 2 return flights per year from anywhere else. Pick your employer as one of the oil majors in Aberdeen. It turns out that Edinburgh is now one of KLM's "oil centres", so a return flight from Edinburgh to anywhere will sign you up for it automatically. Free Booze !.
