Well Well
No matter who we get in the draw it should be reinforced by the Motherwell management to the players that we are the fucking Well and are scared of nobody, go out there and rip they fuckers to shreds. I coudn't give a monkeys if we are beaten as long as we give it 100% in every game and none of this backs against the walls hoping for a draw pish.
Jay
just wondering if all season ticket seats will be getting reserved until the date of the game is known? 20th July even though the general sale is form the 7th July as it does say only people who are available to attend on all 4 potential dates so purchase before the draw Does anyone know if this is the case, or if season ticket seats are only reserved until Friday? I'd have hoped that ST seats were reserved beyond Friday given the short-notice of the thing but I've not seen or heard anything confirmed. Wellfan1984
Might depend on todays inspection wouldn't it - regarding the POD stand?
johnstone
£30 is quite steep, but it is one of the biggest games in our history so I have no real complaints.
DC'd
This club needs your support more than ever now. We paid £5 for the DDee Utd game and although it was largely meaningless - you could look it as £35 for the 2 games. You cannot take with one hand and not give with another.... 100% agreement. At first, the thought of paying £30 for what is commonly referred to as a "Glamarous Friendly" did seem overly costly. But, looking at it in the perspective of the above quote, it really is a fantastic way to look at it.
Finlay
For PATG customers, yes.
DC'd
For PATG customers, yes. Even for a ST holder, if you want to average it over a season: Lets take East Stand for example: £280 per ST + £30 for CL game + £25 for EL game (Just estimated) = £335 That is 19 home games + 1 cup game + 1 EL game + 1 CL game = 22 games per season £335 / 22 = £15.22 per game to watch Motherwell over the season, hardly worth crying over when they "cash in" on the CL.
Finlay
Who is crying? I don't see anybody crying. Just people rightly pointing out that non regular attendees of Fir Park will likely be put off with the £30 a ticket price tag and the possibility of a less than impressive crowd attending such a big game. Jay
My mate's a Well Society member but not a season ticket holder (holding off to see the outcome of the shambles) - he just phoned the ticket off for a bit of clarification. Season ticket seats are only reserved until Friday according to the club. Bit of a joke IMO given the extremely short notice, but manageable for me as I'm not too far away. Will probably impact on others though. Well Society members can either buy over the phone or buy in person, but someone else can't buy a ticket on their behalf due to there not being any proof etc. Season ticket holders and Well Society members can apparently buy two tickets each. Was this mentioned before as it's the first I've heard?
davkel
I sent the club a message to ask about season tickets for the CL game ...I asked if my seat would only be kept till Saturday when the general sale starts ...I have not had a reply . You would like to think you would be able to sit on your own seat at least until we knew who and when the game was !!!!
dmacd1
The price is the price, the club are entitled to try and get a few quid in. Thats fair enough. I don't though understand selling tickets for a game where a) we don't know who we are playing, and b) the date that we are playing against the unknown team BIZARRE to me.

Great post. People on here need to get real. This is the Champions League we are talking about. God forbit we get to the group stages of the CL or EL and the club ask you to pay it again!!!! Last year I spent £25 to watch play away from home. i.e. £25 not going to Motherwell. If people have a problem with the price, I do understand it's a tight time, then its a long season, therefore, just make ONE sacrfice and this will cover the extra few pound. WeeToonWellFan
My only gripe would be that I want a ticket that has the name of the opponent and the date of the game as its the sort of thing you're going to want to keep.

Thats the complaint i have as well, biggest game in the clubs history and we might have a ticket with TBC as opponnents and date on it, Maybe they will not get the tickets printed and issued until they know which one of the 4 teams we are getting

In previous seasons they have managed to get tickets printed and sold in short turnaround times, so its not impossible, it just seems strange that they are selling them possibly a full month before the game. Still bought mine today though

Dexter Dawg
Twelve of us sit together, all season tkt holders,2youngest aged 10 and 12 go on holiday on Aug 1st therefore can only go to game if it's Tue 31st July,as others have said not too much to ask to hold seats until at least the date of the home game is known. I just like to collect tickets from big games I've been to in various sports so I'd hoped to get e.g Motherwell v Dinamo Kiev on the ticket. I'll cope without it and as I said earlier in the thread I'm more that happy to pay £30 - would just have liked to have been able to have the official fixture on my ticket as a keepsake. Special aka
got talking to a Turkish guy in Dyce this morning ............... seems he's a Rangers & Fenerbache fan, (didn't like my Motherwell Say no To NewCo poster on my window). Anyway, apparently Istanbul is swamped with talk about the possible claret & amber invasion He says, we don't do anything daft like lifting our kilts or defacing their currency and we will be fine. However, when I showed him our Club colours he did laugh and shouted "No way ---- Galatasarasay" . .................. the folks on the Fenerbache side of the city will think we are taking the piss. I'm sure if you speak to the club they would accomidate you, no? If not push their hand and tell them it will be 12 season tickets not being renewed if yous are not treated with the respect you'd like. It is underhand, but, it'll force them to do their upmost to look after you.
