steelboy
russia finishes today. ideally spartak and cska will drop points and dinamo will leap frog them to get the place. that would mean that russia would be off the agenda.
Finlay
That would be ideal

Spiderpig
Just to further complicate things, if Chelsea win the Champs league then, the portuguese and Russian teams, ie Braga and Spartak will be moved up to the CL playoff round, so seedings will change. Welldaft Mk1
How about this scenario....Spartak Moscow in the Champions League and then draw CSKA Moscow in the Europa The top seeded teams in the Europa look tasty. Liverpool or Inter Milan anyone???

Wellfan1984
Why Braga and Spartak and not Braga and Kiev? Round placing is decided by National Co-eff not club. And Portugal and Russia are the highest in this rond
DC'd
Warming now to the idea of Dynamo Kiev, and possibly seeing one of my favourite players of all-time whilst growing up play against us in the flesh at Fir Park, in Andriy Shevchenko. Would be quite a surreal moment to know that Shevchenko has played a competitive game at FP. We have been fortunate over the years to witness some very special players grace our turf in opposition colours, but would be nice personally to see Shevchenko (albeit well past his best) play at FP. Spiderpig
*sigh* Still looks as though he has plenty room on his arm to score out champions league and get Europa league added. Surely strong drink or other mind altering substances were involved in that decision to get this done
