steelboy
anybody want to hazard a guess at how many fans we'll take over? we had 500 in odense. i think this time it'll be about 600-700.
Motherwell89
how many home fans do you think they'll have? looking into it they had an average attendance of about 15 thousand expended it to be much higher when i seen the capacity! CoF
Chances of selling out Fir Park? I know we say this even year but this is the biggest name we've had here in years. When was the last time it was sold out?
Lobey_Dosser
800ish to travel if we don't get pumped in the first game. Doing exceptionally well if we can break the 10k barrier at Fir Park given the prices.
Tickle Pickle
By sods law and the typical nonsense and reality of being a Motherwell fan MEANS...... If Ayr beat us 4-0..... .....we WILL beat Panithaniakos!! Sods law says so!!

Waldo
I wouldn't take this as fact but should be a better guide than Football Manager Motherwell versus Panathinaikos
Coolhandluc
I wouldn't take this as fact but should be a better guide than Football Manager Motherwell versus Panathinaikos Keith Lasley market value 700 000 euros
Waldo
Keith Lasley market value 700 000 euros Allan McGreagor 6 million. But it's step for a hint int it?
Coolhandluc
Allan McGreagor 6 million. But it's step for a hint int it? I know, Boumsong at 4 million. Still think Las' valuation is funny though compared to our other guys
Finlay
First leg being first is a major bonus for the Club in shifting tickets.
Special aka
..........................................Winning this tie would set us up for years. In a nutshell. Here's hoping that's incentive enough to have a right good go at this.
maplewell
just beat panathinikos 8-1 in fifa 12. Ojamma and Higdon both with hatricks and Las and Murphy gettin the others, surely a sign of things to come?
delboy
gutted I'm away for the first leg and I praying the first leg would be away I had planned to travel back for it but having to replace our central heating system has put paid to that idea I'll just have to find somewhere to watch it on line or on MFCTV
Shaka
If this clusterfuck of a pre season hadnt happened and we`d actually been able to strengthen and look forward to our first Champions League campaign Id have been real excited by this draw,as it is, I can say hand on heart i have the real fear this game will be over by the final whistle at Fir Park, at least the 1st leg is at home so we will hopefully break 10,000, that is about it as the good news goes. If we had a decent manager with tactical nous we`d go with Hateley,Hutch,Hammell + AN.Other in defence and Ojamaa,Humph + Murph up top playing a 4-3-3/4-5-1 to break at pace,as it is we will be treated to Hateley in midfield,Higdon up top giving fouls away like confetti and no rhythm at all. just praying for some Rangers uefa cup final run style flukiness to at least keep the 2nd leg competetive
Kmcalpin
Now there's a thing as regards the Champions League matches. What are our chances of earning some coinage through a TV deal in these games? We were discussing this very point in our office today Andy. The feeling was that BBC/STV would be lukewarm at best but that Greek TV monies will make us a very happy club indeed. How accurate is that? I don't know but no doubt someone on these boards will have good knowledge of Greek TV.
