GazzyB
Panathinaikos 5/6 5/6?!? That may just be too tempting...

Finlay
What kind of allocation is it? 5% of capacity? Plenty that is for sure.
Special aka
If they average 15-17,000 in a 70,000 stadium I doubt there will be the same concern as we had for Nancy. What's the gut feel on our numbers ? 1,000(ish) ?
Tassinari
I believe the club thinks the Geeks may bring around a 1000 or so fans. They will likely be in an area of the South stand. How big is the Greek population in the UK?? I dare say we could get a good few 'home' based away fans buying, if they have the outlet to get them here in the UK. Motherwell89
Where did you see the average attendances? These same numbers keep coming up for us and them when I Google it! Panathinaikos Olympiako Stadio Spyros Louis Capacity - 71030 Average - 5562 Motherwell FC Fir Park Capacity -13742 Average Attendance - 6986

FrazMFC96
With Law in CM and Murphy on the wing I reckon we could give this mob a run for their money!

underboyleheating
Hope they bring some to FP, would love to see how the stewards intend to deal with that! How would Glasgow Airport deal with this? Send for John Smeaton. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xT8ptGUMfuE&feature=related

underboyleheating
Still very little about the game on their official site. There is only a token next game ad banner on the right hand side with the time and date. They probably just view it as an easy step to the ‘proper’ CL games. I am certain they think they will win both home and away games pretty comfortably.

steelboy
got my home leg tickets there. my season ticket seat was still available so i'm a happy camper. roll on next tuesday! our champions league debut at fir park, followed our first ever visit to dingwall to get the league campaign underway and then an invasion of athens has the potential to be one of the best weeks ever. underboyleheating
So he could watch other people sort it out and then claim the credit? Yeah I know that is his style but it’s the only name I could remember from all that airport madness. He certainly made a few bob out of doing fuck all. Rory Bellows
This must be the biggest game in the clubs history, right ?
MelvinBragg
I'd argue that in terms of potential impact on survival of the club, games against Dunfermline last day and Falkirk second last day to avoid relegation were bigger. In terms of magnitude of the game, for me the three cup finals I've seen us in were bigger.. In terms of potential financial boost though, it's probably up there... Finlay
Aye. I would place the three Cup Finals above this. I'm sure others though will see this as our biggest game ever.

superwell87
Finally got round to buying my ticket this morning and it will the best £30 i have spent in a while. Really looking forward to the game now. I am quietly confident we can work up a result over the two legs. Panathinaikos are nor the team they once were. C'mon ye well! numpty
This must be the biggest game in the clubs history, right ? Depends what you mean by "big". But in terms of "never thought it would happen in a million years", "most goosebumps when the teams run out", then it's certainly right up there. Yoshi-1991
Me my cuz and my girl friend are all going to the game. We are all students so would be getting student tickets. Would one of us be able to go down and get all three tickets? I know the ticket office can be funny with things like this.
