makaveli
Beltane Park.... that the one across from the general?
Frazzie
Naw, a few hundred yards further away from the hospital. Drive past the one you're thinking about and take the 3rd exit at the roundabout then Beltane is your first right turn.
nethertonwellfan
Behind the Beltane Bowling club which is no far from the Sports Centre.
David
Nice one, should be a decent little warm-up game. Not far away as well, which is a bonus.
wee_monsieur
£4 entry for adults, kids free, I'm told. and a wee hut that serves Chapman's pies. What more could you ask for?

A social club that I can go in to at half time and return for the second half? I need to get over my days of watching Aberystwyth Town when I was at Uni
David
Is there any chance of this game being called off with all this rain? What kind of shape is that pitch in?
wee_monsieur
Ended up a fine game. 4-2 to the 'Well youngsters (mostly around 17yr olds!) playing some gey hairy-arsed big Juniors. It was skill and fleetness of foot vs brute force, but we won the day - and a trophy to boot. The Wishaw Cup. Medals an' all!

It was skill and fleetness of foot vs brute force, but we won the day - and a trophy to boot. The Wishaw Cup. Medals an' all! Heard that we were going to play a lot of the u 19's but they were playing up at Dalzell Park so the younger ones stepped in. Must admit it was like watching a Faithers vs Sons game but the young ones showed them that skill and pace makes up for brute force and size. Could have been even more if we had taken our chances in the last 10mins when we had a real go at them. Big curly haired guy at the back No5 the No2 and the wee blonde No9 up front looked very good (sorry no team lines so don't know their names)
Special aka
Sounds like a decent run out for some of our young hopefulls. Best of luck to Wishaw in their new home.

that hat
What was in 'Well No 2's inhaler, that was some run immediately after he used it, leading to the third goal.
mightywellscott
I see the grass at Beltane hasn't improved much in 20 years !!
wee_monsieur
About a hundred or so maybe a wee bit more Just under 200, according to Wishae club secretary. Maybe including all the players and officials!!!! Junior clubs are a wee bit prone to exaggeration. Forgot about the goalie. The triple save he had in the 2nd half was superb.
