B.K.
As announced on Real Radio earlier this evening we now have some items up on eBay to help raise funds for the cause. If you have any mates that are supporters of the following clubs -; Dundee United Falkirk Hearts Hibs Aberdeen Kilmarnock Sheffield Wednesday Can you please ask them to raise the awareness of these Autographed Strips amongst their fellow fans or by bidding themselves or by linking their fan-forums to them. Some more items from other clubs will appear later. Check them out here -; http://shop.ebay.co.uk/merchant/motherwellsupporterstrust

B.K.
Good man. It's an XL and has 19 autographs on it, it also comes with a "Cert of Auth" signed by the PA to the Chief Exec. There is also a letter from them wishing best of luck for the night which we can throw in if you win it. I have the strip here so you could even save on the P & P. Happy bidding. It does not matter what size it is it will be getting frames and put up with my motherwell top. i noticed the Killie top is over £100 which is good. B.K.
Best of luck then. We also have a signed Fletcher, Man Utd top, donated to us by Darren and Brian McClair, although this is going up for auction at the dinner along with some other top drawer items. B.K.
At the moment the only club not playing ball are Falkirk, there are NO bids on the signed shirt yet. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/merchant/motherwellsupporterstrust does anyone frequent the Falkirk messageboards that can embaress some of their members into bidding for a worthy cause !!! infact try some of the other clubs boards to see if we can get the bids up. Brazilian
best of luck with all the continued fundraising is there anyway for folks that cannot make the dinner to bid on the memorabila? would be interested in some of the stuff mentioned but have no way of getting to the event. and regards Ebay can you not get some pictures onto the ebay listings and add a wee bit if you have letters from the clubs as that goes a long way in proving authenticity and many folk will pay more or at least bid your ebay reputation is zero so your asking alot from rightly cautious ebayers to trust you on the basis of a internet club badge image and a wee story, picture would go a long way and the edit announcing letters would help. I emailed around the list yesterday and got some sheepies and bairns on board and got the thread in P&B bumped but they were promised pictures
scott_mfc
This has been bugging me for a while now, why is it billed as "£40 quid a ticket/ a table of ten for £400"? Surely if you bought ten tickets then that would add up to £400. Saying a table of ten for £400 isny a discounted rate
B.K.
Because, if you have never been to a sportsmans dinner etc, one of the most important factors is the number of seats at a table, its got absolutly nothing to do with the cost or a bulk discount , its all about the number of invites the table host will extend to his guests. Invite 8 people and have 2 strangers at your table or turn up with 11 and somebody is "Nigelled". Hope its not bugging you any longer !!! AndyRoss
The ebay items are ending around 8ish tonight , been delighted with the progress on the Aberdeen and Killie ones.
B.K.
Brazilian Couple of valid points there with some very straightforward answers. Bidding on items If you are intrested in anything in particular I am more than happy to place a proxy bid on your behalf or i'm sure anyone else you know would thats going to the event. eBay Agree with your points but given that the strips have just been donated to us this week and we wanted to get the total funds by Saturday it was the only feasable way of doing it. As for pictures or COE, the strips are not all in the one place infact some of the club representatives attending on Saturday night are bringing them with them to the dinner, making this impossible to do. We will however be issuing the club reply letter with the strips. As for our rating and the authenticity, that it why we publicised it in the media that the auctions could be accessed through the Welltrust.net site, best we could do given the circumstances We have also replied to a few buyers questions promising supporting documents. Hope you can understand our predicament with trying to maximise the time available and striking while the irons hot. PM me if you would like a proxy bid place on any item.
