Haggischomper Posted February 7, 2013 Report Share Posted February 7, 2013 Much like Twitter and the social media network for 14 yr old lassies - Facebook - Official MotherwellFC has had a presence over on Google+. Looks like they are starting to ramp things up a bit more, using Google's superior resources for a community and, possibly, things like Hangouts. For those who don't know, a hangout is basically webchat for bunches of folk - can even be used via the phone app. I use it all the time to keep in touch with my folks back home. Anyway, consider joining up and send them suggestions on what you'd like to see happen. Pretty sure they'd be open to your suggestions and see what's possible. weeyin Posted February 7, 2013 Report Share Posted February 7, 2013 http://www.pcworld.com/article/2026521/google-outranks-twitter-as-no-2-social-network-after-facebook.html I don't disbelieve the article, but I have doubts about the figures.Only anecdotal, but my wife received a google+ message asking if she wanted to connect to me - showed my profile, correct details etc. Only problem is that, while I do have a google mail account, I have never joined google+ (and my user settings confirm that) Looks like it has me tagged as a user though. Not that I particularly care who is winning that battle - they are all as obnoxious as each other when it comes to grabbing as much personal data as possible and selling it on.
