Big Stall
A really good professional performance, attack minded, expansive, playing football the right way. Really impressed with Higgenbotham, I liked that he can take a man on, has craft, he doesn't just hug his touchline but moved with the play popping up on the right, left and through the centre. Right now we really are blessed with an array of attack minded players. I can't remember the last time we had so many options - Higgy, Ojamma, Law, Higgenbotham, Humphrey, Boab, ZFA. McCall has some crazy detractors in our support, but even they have to credit him for building an exciting attacking team. If we were to add Faddy to that line up.......... Nicky Law was top class yesterday, shame his rifled shot hit the bar, would have been the icing on the cake. Thought Carswell looked out his depth in the first 15 minutes with a good few mistakes, but credit to the lad, he settled into the game and really played his part. Hateley has taken a pounding this season as his form had slipped, I thought he put a great performance in yesterday. Really hope we can keep energy and performance levels up for Tuesday night. Massive game and taking 3 points would really open up some daylight. Particularly since we have to play Celtic soon.
that hat
Also enjoyed Randolph's determination towards the end as he endeavoured to keep a rare clean sheet.
Brazilian
1st - 4% + 13% = 17% 2nd - 4% + 11% = 15% 3rd - 4% + 5.5% = 9.5% 4th - 4% + 4.5% = 8.5% 5th - 4% + 4.0% = 8.0% 6th - 4% + 3.5% = 7.5% 7th - 4% + 3.0% = 7.0% 8th - 4% + 2.5% = 6.5% 9th - 4% + 2.0% = 6.0% 10th - 4% + 1.5% = 5.5% 11th - 4% + 1.0% = 5.0% 12th - 4% + 0.5% = 4.5% As far as I'm aware this is still the model in place for this season. I think the prize money is much bigger than you suggest. Closer to 1st - £3M, 2nd - £2.6M, 3rd - £1.7M. I thought all the commercial deals were significantly down on previous seasons and the SPL has the added burden of paying the SFL for Rangers match rights for TV, if so the Prize money would be down quite a bit on 2011 which you refereed to in the past Breakdown in statistical terms: 1st - 4% + 13% = 17% 2nd - 4% + 11% = 15% 3rd - 4% + 5.5% = 9.5% 4th - 4% + 4.5% = 8.5% 5th - 4% + 4.0% = 8.0% 6th - 4% + 3.5% = 7.5% 7th - 4% + 3.0% = 7.0% 8th - 4% + 2.5% = 6.5% 9th - 4% + 2.0% = 6.0% 10th - 4% + 1.5% = 5.5% 11th - 4% + 1.0% = 5.0% 12th - 4% + 0.5% = 4.5% Last seasons split of prize money: edit: (by brazilian) that would be season(10/11) Rangers......... £2,975,000 Celtic............... £2,625,000 Hearts............. £1,662,500 Dundee Utd... £1,487,500 Kilmarnock..... £1,400,000 Motherwell...... £1,312,250 Inverness........ £1,225,000 St Johnstone.. £1,137,500 Aberdeen........ £1,050,000 Hibs................. £962,500 St Mirren.......... £875,000 Hamilton......... £787,500 and besides I'm pretty sure there has already been a carve up fo the money this season due to the summers shenanigans
Big Stall
and besides I'm pretty sure there has already been a carve up fo the money this season due to the summers shenanigans No mate, they tried to have a vote but it didn't get through. All the teams, including our own are greedy bastards and want a couple of shots at the 2nd place jack pot. The rules won't get changed until Rangers are due to come back in. sbcmfc
Having singled out Hunphrey for his poor attitude at Rugby park last week, it's only fair to commend him on his work rate yesterday! Thought he had a good game and worked hard, tracking back when required. This in turn lead to Hateley having his best game in a while too!! Don't know if McCall had seen what I saw and given him a rocket? But he certainly looked a lot hungrier!
roly
I thought all the commercial deals were significantly down on previous seasons and the SPL has the added burden of paying the SFL for Rangers match rights for TV, if so the Prize money would be down quite a bit on 2011 which you refereed to in the past Quite possibly. I doubt its down 50% though. A quick search about shows alot of fan sites quoting this for season 2012/13 Prize money (approx £13m TV money + £2m title sponsorship per season) is split as follows: 1st 17% £2,550,000.00 2nd 15% £2,250,000.00 3rd 9.50% £1,425,000.00 4th 8.50% £1,275,000.00 5th 8.00% £1,200,000.00 6th 7.50% £1,125,000.00 7th 7% £1,050,000.00 8th 6.50% £975,000.00 9th 6.00% £900,000.00 10th 5.50% £825,000.00 11th 5% £750,000.00 12th 4.50% £675,000.00 No idea how reliable that information is though. and besides I'm pretty sure there has already been a carve up fo the money this season due to the summers shenanigans Almost certain this hasn't happened. It would've required clubs agreeing on somthing.
Dr.Pepper
Anyone got the 50/50 draw numbers from yesterday? Couldn't find anything on the club site.
