OfficialMFC
Hey folks, We are looking for help from Motherwell supporters as we try and secure the Motherwell FC Community Trust as much as £80,000 worth of funding from NetMums / Comic Relief. The Trust is one of five shortlisted - the only Scottish charity involved incidentally - for their innovative 'Football for Families' programme; the project uses football as a tool to bring parents and children together and helps them to strengthen relationships through the application of sporting values such as teamwork, discipline and gamesmanship. 'Footballfor Families' also promotes healthy living through physical activity, improving thelong-term health and well-being of those who take part. With help from the cash raised through Red Nose Day via Netmums, Motherwell Football Club CommunityTrust would be able to extend its support to a greater number of deprived and isolated parents and children who would greatly benefit from involvement. Theproject would also be able to enhance the current work being done through the development of vibrant interactive learning resources which promote the importance of family values such as respect, sharing and responsibility. Please help us with this vital bit of funding. It will take just a few seconds to vote and you do not need to register - CLICK HERE.

Brazilian
"Find out more about the five UK charities that have been selected below (by clicking on each link) and cast your vote in the form below." I dont see a form when i click on that link Immediately below the bottom of the five charities, there is a link (on my phone) it says to view this content click here to open new window and links to a very basic but simple survey monkey page Really quick and easy to fill in, a couple of mouse clicks, leave a name town and postcode and that's it. ( no email or phone details) And would really boost the community side of the club a great deal, if others get the chance they should click and vote
SMc
If you are using a PC/Laptop the survey is on the same page below the charities, no need to click to a different page.
OfficialMFC
Yea, Red Nose Day / Net Mums have embedded Survey Monkey onto the site - it usually takes a few seconds to load up. If we can really get fans, friends and families to get behind this, it would prove an absolutely vital bit of funding for the Community Trust. Any help is much appreciated... Gaag
Is the outcome based on votes alone, or are there other factors involved? FWIW I've shared it on the Steelmen Online Facebook page and my own.

Gaag
Anyone know if this was successful? I'm guessing not - they'd have been shouting from the rooftops had they gotten something out of it you'd think
NottsMFC
Just had a look on the website & it wasn't all or nothing, all 5 charities got a slice of the £200,000, the amount depending on the amount of votes received. The trust picked up £30,000 so at least they got something. It was 3rd on votes received.
