milo
If it's less than £400k it'll make it even harder to take.
Guest
Right, can we just sign another Ojamaa then?
numpty
Rumour was that Poznan were offering add-ons as part of the deal; if Warsaw are doing the same, we may not know for quite a while exactly how much we end up bringing in for him.
underboyleheating
If it's less than £400k it'll make it even harder to take. I reckon it would have been around £350,000, but these days you can never tell as it was probably an undisclosed fee.
fizoxy
Do we have a big enough tractor for the photo op with the kampman-esque number of new players we'll need? Happy that henrik got his move, good luck to him. Is he the first of the 'sign to sell' players that we've actually sold?

Happy that henrik got his move, good luck to him. Is he the first of the 'sign to sell' players that we've actually sold? Absolutely. We were meant to have had 18 months of Omar Daley, instead we got Ojamaa and £350k+. That'll do fine.

siebsbarmyarmy
Jesus, what's going on. At least we are getting some cash for him which ain't bad I guess. Infuriating player at times but also very exciting to watch when on form. This summer is getting more interesting each week!
Well Well
That boy Lawson must be scratching his head, he is now one of our longest serving players That tickled me..I can just see the team photograph for the new season won't be a who's who but more a who's that. Also can see the free kick wall being used to make up the numbers in the photo.
MelvinBragg
If we complain about the club letting so many players run down their contracts, then we can't complain if they cash in on a player with a year to go on his deal. Is this not the ideal Motherwell model anyway? Bring in someone for free that no one's heard of. That player plays a part in some success. Sell them on for a fee. Trick is to repeat the trick...

Yep, absolutely Melvin, to think he begged McCall to be given a chance to play and was basically given bus fare as wages, yet he is the only one leaving so far that has got us some cash.

Well 4 Europe
Signed for fuck all... 18 months, 13 goals and over 15 assists later we sell him for a six figure sum. Sad to see him go but it's good business for the club and route we should contintue to look down. Plenty of players out there who just need a platform to shine. Hopefully McCall find a few more like him. Cheers Henrik, it's been a blast.

Shaka
Another loss for the third year in a row despite 2 bumper home euro gates,a 45000 cup crowd at Ibrox,2 televised cup games,2large crowds for the Aberdeen cup games AND finishing 2nd. Gutted another ones gone but those thinking mccall will see a penny of the fee are in cloud cukoo land. Randolph,Law,Humphrey,Ojamaa,Higdon,Faddy,Hateley to replace from the FIRST TEAM and Daley,Saunders,Kerr,Higginbotham to replace from the match day squad. 11 new players for the match day squad is a minimum seeing as we have the smallest squad in the league already. Lawson is the first,10 more MINIMUM with no fees and LESS of a budget than last year, also knowing if we don't make 2 cup semi's and a top 4 place in the league were guaranteed to end next season in admin, fuckin love being a Well fan lol

uberbernie
Excellent. excellent for ojamma. not for us though as all they would need to do is match the accepted bid. badly handled again getting a paltry fee yet again. why couldnt we have held out like dundee utd who got exactky the fee they wanted
well_nuts
If we have already accepted a bid from 1 of them then surely the other just have to match it and that will be accepted as well?

uberbernie
We did hold out - that is why they came back with improved bids. improved but still piddly, 500k is minimum i would have accepted(including add ons). hes 21 and an international player. plus we could have induced a bidding war. now its too late cause we caved far too early. ages since we have conducted ourself with any gumption at all. maybe fee for clarky was the last timee
Tickle Pickle
Its turned into eBay in Poland!! As a club we shouldn't be concerned about losing almost all of our top players we always fall in shite and come out smelling of roses, its becoming our thing. After going into administration within 10 years we qualify for the Champions League. We lose one of our most loved players, club captain and leader and then we still go and qualify for Europe and fill the whole left by Phil with our very own Keith. We lose half the team, McCall will prevail and I think we have started off Well by securing Lawson. On the bright side we are losing our players early rather than towards the end of the window and if you look at what we have Hutchy, Hammell, Las, Carsy, ZFA, McHugh, Ramsden, a few new young lads too, I genuinely don't think we have anything to worry about... yet!
