Not too bothered about Humphrey and Hately leaving. Both are technically not very good. Sure the Hump can run but jeeso how often did he dissapear in games especially away from home. He's actually only done well the last few weeks of the season. Hately also was a frustrating player who in some games was crap. Both easily replaceable in my opinion.

Regarding Law he no longer plays for Motherwell end of. We look now to replace him and move on, we have lost better and will again.

Thanks for the service and all the best with the wage rise. If he ever faces us in anyway I hope he gets pelters but until then put this to bed it's getting boring now.

Latest twitter rumour

"Tom Hateley will have signing talks with The Rangers on the 10th of June and has already indicated through his father that he wants to sign"

Doubt would come as a major shock to anyone.

Why 10th June? Cant be on their priority list since Law and Daly are signed up already

hopefully we'll get back to talking about a couple of players signing in, before the next couple of players confirm their move out.

some people say its good to dream, Faddy on his European debut and a cup run :clapping: SIWY

In a strange way Hateley will be a perfect fit for Rangers, as there's always been something unlikable about him. I'm not sure what it is, but he's just easy to dislike.

The one thing he has been for us is consistent.

I think it is partly to with the media.

The way they praised him with 'dead ball specialist' and 'excellant delivery ' when he put in one good ball all game - just because they liked his daddy. Leaving out contributions of other Motherwell players who played better. Probably because they watched out for him coz they knew his name and found it boring to learn the others players names.

Perhaps. I dunno, I've just always disliked his demeanor. He could be the nicest guy ever in real life, so I'm not looking to slate the guy.

Feeling that way about nicky law, every time I look for info on Mccall I see him in that strip spouting about aunt Sally crying and his passion. I did wish him luck but now feel fuck you hope you have a howler and are never heard of againdrinks.gif

Hateley's agent is Trevor Steven, but any time you hear of him speak of contracts or transfers he always says "My dad and my agent Trevor Steven". To be honest, I wouldn't be heartbroken if he left. He's been incredibly consistent for us in his time here, but for perhaps a small blip this season, but I think he's the most replaceable of all of those we could stand to lose. To add to that, I'm not a massive fan of the persona he gives off.

If Hateley does go, we could replace him directly or we could sign another centre back and play Ramsden in his more recognised position of right back, so it gives us flexibility in that respect too.

I actually think Tom Hateley will turn out to be a Rab Shannon type player where you won't really appreciate what you've had until its gone. Not startling by any manner of means but I think he's a very competent SPL level full-back with the added bonus of chipping in with a few assists.

I'd say he enjoys a level of press, through association, that other players of a similar standard miss out on but I think he'll be a bigger loss when he goes than some might imagine.
