Big Stall
You know I reckon our 2013 team in full flow could of had a decent shot against some of those teams. Or at least a shot at taking them by surprise. Shame we will have a completley new set up.
GazzyB
Ooft Swansea ONE TIME!!! Also agree with the above. Humph, Faddy, Higgly, Law and co would have had a right good chance of getting to the group stages!
Onthefringes
Taking out the obvious, some rare trips to be had. Not quite sharing a request for Swansea mind
Special aka
Jeez, there's a stack of undesirable destinations in that list
'Wellfan 2k7
Bring on Swansea! It's the only way I could afford an away Euro Trip!

HanoMaSano
Latest list of probable seeds for round 3 - still another half dozen to be confirmed: ... Of that list for the jaunt I'd have one of: - Club Brugge - FC Zürich For best chance of qualification probably: - Rosenborg BK (we pumped the last Norwegian side) - Omonia Nicosia (3rd/4th in Cypriot League with similar recent Euro record to ourselves) For best all round trip/chance the one team that stands out is: - Estoril Praia (Just outside Lisbon which is a great city, finished a distant 5th in the Portugese league, just promoted last season and no real pedegree in Europe)
El Grew
I seem to recall we have played Aalborg previously in pre-season friendly. Might have been a good few years back mind.

Guest
How come they seeded then ??? They take Portugal's co-efficient, I think. That's the one. Mon the Estoril draw.

The Lerkendal is a decent stadium and Trondheim is a smashing place to visit. Loads of nice pubs/restaurants. Bit expensive but would be a cracking trip. Its a long way from Oslo mind you! Wellfan1984
They take Portugal's co-efficient, I think. Not quiet but this is the jist. it is how Swansea and Wigan both start on 16.592 points despite neither featuring in Europe before.
HanoMaSano
How come they seeded then ??? They take Portugal's co-efficient, I think. Yeah, everybody gets 20% of their nations coefficient as a base then their own ranking added on top. Estoril have not been in Europe in years so only take Portugals base ranking. Due to really good performances by Porto and Benfica in recent seasons Portugals ranking is very high. 5th overall in europe. Portugal have a ranking of 59.168, so any team has as a base ranking 59.168 * 20% = 11.
tottenmfc
Levski Sofia! Always fancied visiting Sofia for some reason and I'm sure it's pretty cheap there? Can only make the trip if we're away the 2nd leg right enough so here's hoping!
milo
The dates are the 1st and 8th August right? I plan on getting the club charter this year due to commitments on 2nd and 9th August.
Wellfan1984
If I am looking at this right, we could possibly get a flukeable tie in the Third Round and be seeded in the Playoff as the draw is done the same days as the second leg, meaning we'll take the seeded position (if high enough, and the bigger CL teams don't fuck up). All if's and but's - although I thought they used to do the playoff draw AFTER the conclusion of the Third Round

Special aka
Ok for most of our potential opponents ==== with its proximity to Weegieland, Motherwell is fairly simple to get to. Zilina, Kazan, Odessa, Trondheim ?? We are gonna have to be very lucky out the pot.
Burn_Broomfield
Trondheim is no bother to get to at all. KLM via Amsterdam is how I used to get there and Norwegian Air Shuttle fly via Copenhagen(I think?). Kazan will do me and there is a chance of it being moved to Moscow. Some might be 100s of miles from an airport mind you! Surely they are just doing our journey in reverse?

Some might be 100s of miles from an airport mind you! Surely they are just doing our journey in reverse? The pot of teams we could get in terms of travelling looks a lot better to me than it has in previous years. They kind of fall into 3 brackets: 1) Would likely be a bastard to get to: Rubin Kazan Rus Hapoel Tel-Aviv Isr Maccabi Haifa Isr Metalurg Donetsk Ukr Chernomorets Odesa Ukr Trabzonspor Tur Bursaspor Tur 2) Probably OK but might be some issues: Lech Poznan Pol AaB Aalborg Den Anorthosis Famagusta Cyp Rosenborg BK Nor MSK Zilina Svk Levski Sofia Bul Omonia Nicosia Cyp 3) Would be a skoosh: Standard Liège Bel Udinese Ita Club Brugge Bel Viktoria Plzeň/Sparta Prague Cze AS Saint-Étienne Fra Sevilla/Getafe/Levante/Espanyol/Athletic Bilbao Esp FC Zürich Sui Swansea City Eng Eintracht Frankfurt/VfB Stuttgart Ger FC Utrecht Ned Estoril Praia Por Rapid Vienna/Sturm Graz Aut
Welldaft Mk1
I would take any from brackets 2 & 3 and Israel from your top and worst bracket. How easy is it to get into Israel? My personal choice would be Belgium, Netherlands, Portugal and Cyprus in that order. Although Udinese would be a good draw also.
