Al B
Aye its a european game but as Leanne said,we need all the cash we can get! Surely after pulling a team most people have never heard of it would be better to have 7000-8000 at £20 than 5000-6000 at £25. I just can't see anything other than a half empty stadium now Where's your balancing point though? 7000 at £20 would bring in £140,000...but 6000 at £25 would bring in £150,000. Will an extra fiver stop 1000 people going?? I doubt it....at the very least it's worth the gamble.
WellLee
As an aside, I think the club should request the Aberdeen game is moved to the following Tuesday or Wednesday. The players will be bloody knackered after that flight back. If Celtic can postpone a scheduled league fixture to take part in a fucking friendly then we should be allowed to delay this game. Naw? totally agree with your sentiment!! I suppose that, as usual, we will just get on with it without making a fuss and play with an exhausted team
WellLee
Shou Will it not be £65 quid for you, your hubby and 2 children then? my daughter is 19 mate so 2 adults and 1 + 1 ticket = £

Richie
Its £22 for Rugby Park and more for Easter Road. Prob just means to stick to budget I'll avoid Easter Road on the 4th. It's fair enough for a European game - there's always the chance of a bit of history.
Pepper
£25 = the price of success I'll take that any day of the week!
Rocky'
£25 for a one of game big occasion etc.. I can't grumble. £22 for SPL games on the other hand is a rip off
joewarkfanclub
£25 for a Euro game is just about right and the concessions for kids/OAPs and family tickets are sensible. If folks are put off coming to this game at those prices given that most folks have NO chance of getting to Russia, you would have to question if they are REALLY that interested in attending. I appreciate money is tight for a lot of folks but as mentioned already would £2/3 really change folks minds? Given that this will be our first competive home game of the season Id be disappointed if we dont get at least 6000/7000 in for this. Andrew23
Wouldn't grumble at those prices given the cost of SPL games. Concessions a bit steep though.

GazzyB
Thought £25 was initially steep but spose it's roughly the same as paying to see St Mirren at Fir Park so it's not so bad.
weesacs
its a shame we have aberdeen the following weekend - cant see them agreeing to a switch why would they? it might get moved to the sunday - but a tues/wed - no way, why would they want to travel down from there at night when they dont need to?? as for the comparison made with Celtic, as much as i think the friendly scenario thing is a load of rubbish and should be binned - its in the rules, they are allowed to do it if Aberdeen do not agree to the switch - Motherwell should arrange a friendly and play the U20s, letting the 1st team rest - and get round it that way

punk_in_drublic
£25 - that's a half of a Saturday night out in town. No that bad. It's 2013. Ginger bottles are worth 50p.

steelman1991
Bet you guys are happy you don't support Bournemouth - they charged £65.00 for a ticket for their Real Madrid friendly at the weekend.
Gaag
I notice that St J's game against Rosenborg is Pay at the Gate - would surely make more sense for us to do that?
Grievesie
Fans need to come out and support the club here. We all want players like Faddy and McManus but complain when the club charge £25 for a European game. The cost for the club to travel to Russia is coming in at 125k. We certainly could make a loss in this tie.
GazzyB
Do we split the gate receipts in Europa League ties, a la the Scottish Cup?
fergi4
I notice that St J's game against Rosenborg is Pay at the Gate - would surely make more sense for us to do that? Thought that was against UEFA rules? Have clubs not supposed to have address details of attendees?
