I like ramsden, think he's solid and dependable the majority of the time but no way I thought he was mom.

He did some good things but was skinned a few times in the second half. A lot of Particks attacks in the second half came from their left side and I thought ramsden was out of position on several occasions.

Hutch for me

Think criticism of Hammy earlier in the thread is unfair as he was tracking Lawless and ZFA was covering for him so couldn't get forward as much. Also, in the first half I dont think Thistle had any joy on the right but a couple of decent crosses came from the left with Faddy's mobility in question. Thought Faddy had a poor first half but there were flashes of his old self in the second and hopefully the 90mins will do him the world of good.

The tactics in the first half were spot on and starting Carswell was a great move from McCall as he didn't give them time on the ball. Lasley was solid but should have put away his chance. Glad Sutton scored and hopefully he'll kick on but I thought he had a poor second half. Anier looks like a find and I'd like to see him start every week. Ramsden, Hutchy and Mick looked solid to me and I like seeing Hutchy make those forward runs but his final ball needs work. Hollis was fine as he had little to do.

For me there was no stand out performer but I was well pleased with the result.

Agreed.

Watched him play for the 19s a fair bit a couple of seasons back and never thought he was up to much at that level, let alone 1st team

Ballocks! .He will mature into a good player and I 'll remind you about it.

somwhat of a contradiction but I think he plays better attacking football when he is given a more defensive role.

Coming from a defensive poition he can see everything in front of him. Now he is being played further up the field and I think it will take hime time to adjust since is now getting the ball with his back to the attacking half.

He needs to learn how to time runs and also open up his body position and hopefully getitng used to bothof those will mean he is not receiving the ball with his back to the efending players.

So for me he is in a totally new role and will need time to adapt

Was he not given the task of man marking Higginbotham?
