They might - but he will be on a decent wedge with us and made a big play about moving back to the central belt with his wife. Would he really want to head back up to the furthest north....

Seems like a decent lad. Shame it is not working out for him at the moment.

And despite not hitting the heights, he's probably only an injury to Lasley or Carswell away from being a starter.

The Rosco duds are a waste of wages so far and unless McCall comes up with a way of using them effectively were stuck with them.

So, like Saturday then?

Vigurs created numerous crucial chances, including a sublime pass for the third goal. Lawson came on to shore up the midfield in place of Lasley, protected the back four and hit a cracking effort from outside the box, something all the fans have been screaming at our midfield to do all season. Lawson especially has been castigated any time he's put in a bad ten minute spell as a sub, so why shouldn't he take the plaudits for a good ten minute spell?

We shouldnt be giving up on 2nd at this stage.

We are 1 point off second right now having been brutal to watch at times. If we can keep players fit and avoid unecessary suspensions we might just find some form along the way.

Given our early cup exits, every penny will be a prisoner so we need to finish as high as we can to maximise prize revenue.

If we can play some more attractive football while we are at it we might not see as much drop off at the gate which would be a further boost.

No such thing as meaningless fixtures between now and seasons end. All the more reason we should be looking to keep Anier and Ainsworth if we can.

Spot on for me.

For as poor as we have been at times we are still up there. We will come good at some point, normally when McCall pulls a signing from somewhere in January.

One swallow far from makes a summer I was critical of the way they were being used also, which changed on sat. Can't help but feel mcCall will revert back to plan A no matter how plan B worked. He really doesn't like to change.
