chummy
Does everything need to be someone fault? It's disappointing but these things happen. Move on. Beat me to it mate
Andy H
Fucks sake, anyone living in Lanarkshire knows how much water is on the ground at the moment. Not surprised in the least the game is off
ONeils40yarder
Yaaaaaasssss, after a great couple of weeks on the pitch with fuck all to moan about, it's reassuring to know that there is always some sort of disaster round the corner to keep us all on our toes #whereissteelboy
numpty
What are the figures for call offs in the last 2 seasons compared to the rest of the league? I don't remember many since our last round of pitch updates. Was wondering that myself. Folk all over Twitter this morning saying how we should be facing fines by now as our "pitch is a disgrace" and we're "always" having games called off, but I'm not sure we've had more than maybe one weather-related postponement in the past couple of years. another number
The boy on sky news was bouncing the ball on the pitch and from what they showed it was tiny parts in the corner at the goal line that were unplayable. Considering the amount of rain I'd say the pitch held up fairly well.
Richie
The only ones I can think of in recent years was due to approach roads being frozen and Scottish Power turning off the grid.

We lost the 2nd game at home to United last season due to a waterlogged pitch; was then rearranged for about a month later and Faddy made his debut. stuwell
Disappointed that the game was off but don't blame the club for the flooding. The worst thing about it is that Aberdeen have a chance to leapfrog us into 2nd spot.

Judge Jules
I really fancy Kilmarnock to do us a turn today. Kris Boyd hat-trick
something else
The Hibs game was abandoned due to a generator fault, the united game was a power cut in the local area.
Tweed
Both United games were called off last season. Power cut in October and waterlogged pitch in January on a Tuesday night.

milo
Apparently the waterlogged pitch at the East Stand side was due to a burst pipe in the East Stand roof and not the rain!
underboyleheating
Apparently the waterlogged pitch at the East Stand side was due to a burst pipe in the East Stand roof and not the rain! Care to name your source? In saying that it wasn’t the only section that was effected so the game would still have been called off.
milo
Just a fan who knows somebody who knows somebody. The usual! Might not be true but might also explain why there weren't many games off due to the rain.
NottsMFC
I was in the East for the St J game, up towards the South, & the roof was leaking down next to me. Not a great deal though & presumed it was due to the heavy rain rather than a burst pipe.
underboyleheating
I can’t imagine the club not noticing or ignoring something as simple as a burst pipe. They as much as anybody would have wanted the game to go ahead and I reckon there is nothing to the burst pipe theory.
foghorn
More likely to be a choked drain/ downpipe as there will be no pipework in the roof areas. At the end of the day there was nowhere for the amount of rain that fell last week to go. Drainage systems al over the land are failing and if the game had started we would have had a lottery. Not what we are looking for when we are playing so well
