Onthefringes
1404560211[/url]' post='415413']There won't be any guarantee of a ticket. We've booked now to fly before the prices go up any more. If we can't get a match ticket from MFC we'll just turn up and hope to either buy one from a local supporter or from their club. Alternatively we'll put on some sad faces with all our 'Well gear on and stand outside the players / directors entrance hoping that someone feels sorry for us. We're not bothered about getting a seat. I'll quite happily stand in as a ball boy for the night if it means getting in. That would rule out decorator and the fair few we know are making the trip if it wasn't as easy getting in as it should be

DosserJoe
Anyone looking for cheap digs in Rekjavic, I'd strongly recommend Guesthouse Pavi if you enjoy sleeping in an open gym hall. Gives you that natural disaster feel

JULIANTHELONDONCABBIE
No idea, but it's their 1st season in Europe so only their 3rd and 4th games, they're better at basketball.
East_Stand_Al
Guys just a quick thought, does everyone going know the International (Keflavik) Airport is around 30 -40 mins drive from where Stanjar play, Taxis are not cheap!
JULIANTHELONDONCABBIE
Stjarnan play in area of Garoabaer which is in between Hafnarfjordur and downtown Reykjavik, you could probably get a shuttle bus from airport to drop you off near ground. If I see any Icelanders on Thursday I will ask best way. Nothing in Iceland is cheap.
BangorBloke
You do realise that the famous Bangor City FC are going to win 5-0 on Thursday?
BangorBloke
But just in case: Bus route from the airport goes right past the ground (50 metres away) Bus Number 1 from Reykjavik takes you to the ground. The ground only holds 1000 and we were given 80 tickets. I heard a rumour that the next round MAY be moved to the national stadium

At least you can console yourself that you lost 4-0 and did not concede 5 in 30 minutes like Brazil Q - Was the ground full up with 1000 or so fans? Frazzie
I believe it's 1000 seated, which means 1000 is all UEFA will allow in the competition. Holds 1700 otherwise.
BangorBloke
Yes, 1000 is the maximum as game has to be all seated.
