Ya Bezzer!
I think I've mentioned this before but I work in central Glasgow most of the time and I've seen all the fans from the various Champions League clubs at close quarters and Manchester Utd are easily the scummiest I've ever come across. something else
Scummier than Celtic fans? No chance.
something else
Defeats for ICT and st Johnstone this weekend should see us guaranteed at least 4th which could possibly get us into Europe again. Anybody any ideas of dates for the early rounds. Someone mentioned on Facebook the other day it could be as early as late June/early July. Sup3rw3ll
First qualifying round Draw Date = 23 June 2014 1st Leg = 3 July 2014 2nd Leg = 10 July 2014 Second qualifying round Draw Date = 23 June 2014 1st Leg = 17 July 2014 2nd Leg = 24 July 2014 Higher co-eff that the dandy dons, just sayin' UEFA Club Rankings: 62 Celtic 36.813 191 Motherwell 8.313 232 Dundee United 6.313 289 Aberdeen 4.313
sbcmfc
Cup winners and 2nd go in at q2 3rd place goes in at q1. Obviously if 2nd or 3rd win the cup, that would be jumbled about a bit, and 4th would be q1.
Toxteth O'Grady
Are you sure about this? Last year we finished 2nd and went in to the Europa League 3rd qualifying round. St Johnstone finished 3rd and entered at the 2nd qualifying round. Does 2nd place = the 2nd qualifying round this year? Hopefully we don't enter in the 1st qualifying round as I'll be on holiday EDIT - yes, you're correct according to Wikipedia.
fat_tony
Unfortunately away on holiday the week of the 17th, but depending who we draw (should we get in of course) I'd hopefully be able to make either Q1 date or the Q2 2nd leg. Exciting times if we can secure a Euro spot again! I love waiting for the draw, going to miss that excitement if/when we return to the days of relegation battles and mid-table mediocrity. casey
Aberdeen win at Ibrox tomorrow would hopefully guarantee us at least a place in the first qualifying round ;-)
daver
I'm generally happy to see Aberdeen lose but today's result means we have to rely on United winning the cup. Obviously I hope it won't come to that.
Welldaft Mk1
I'm generally happy to see Aberdeen lose but today's result means we have to rely on United winning the cup. Obviously I hope it won't come to that. If we finish 3rd we dont have to rely on anyone. That has to be and will be our focus. If we can get 5-6 points that should be enough to see us over the line. United reaching the final is no bad thing as they may feel they have a fall back position.
daver
I meant to put "we may have to rely" as I'm hoping we can finish 3rd or even 2nd but we are going to have to pull some results out the bag for that to happen.
steelboy
the bookies have ICT as favourites against aberdeen on friday and st johnstone as favourites against dundee united on saturday. that would leave inverness ahead of united and right in the mix for 3rd. we should only be thinking about getting 2nd or 3rd and forgetting the scottish cup. Absolutely. In fact a draw in those 2 games would be the best outcome.
Ya Bezzer!
Will be interesting to see how Aberdeen react to their first big disappointment of the season. They have now only won one of their last 5 matches so they might be on the slid.... Fingers crossed.
Wellfan1984
There is no way a Yogi Hughes led side is going to gain 8 more points than us over the next 5 games. Nae chance.

Goggles & Flippers
As been pointed out, Aberdeen are spluttering, Dundee Utd are finding form after a run of indifferent results, as for us, I don't have a clue where we are however mindful that our record against top 5 teams was looking shocking until recently. Wellfan1984
If we miss out on Europe it will surely be finishing 4th and St. Johnstone winning the cup. Totally agree. And we will have only ourselves to blame. A recent form as mentioned above seems to have changed, taking more points off top six than bottom six in the last 3 games against each. wellfan09
If we don't finish 3rd or better with the current position that we are in then we don't deserve to be playing in Europe anyway
texanwellfan
I think 6 points will be enough to get third place but would rather get second !
Goggles & Flippers
I think 6 points will be enough to get third place but would rather get second ! 6 points would result in Dundee Utd needing to win every game, quite an ask. texanwellfan
6 points would result in Dundee Utd needing to win every game, quite an ask. well 4 out of five games, since they have way better goal difference, but even for them to win 4 out of five i think is beyond them
SuperCC
Lets not forget that after we lost the backbone of the team last summer even finishing 4th should be seen as a success this season but would obviously be happier with 2nd or 3rd!! I am hoping we keep the core of this team and are able to strengthen it a bit with a couple of shrewd signings so that we can go into europe with some guys that actually know each other............Of course thats hoping that we get there. 5 long games to go !
