Maybe he doesn't want to play for accies cause they're a wee team?

The Everton deal looks good, no doubt some will be disappointed it's not another league two journeyman.

We've had plenty 'promising youngsters' on loan from the Premiership who have been gantin... no guarantees with any signings, journeymen or otherwise.

You sound disappointed we made a signing you couldn't pretend to complain about (yet).

Hope all this activity has also given the biggest wake up call to the rest of the team that resting on laurels and assuming to be picked is now over, and instead there is a real chance to be out on your arse with no team in a few months time. Might actually get a performance out them.

The manager keeps going on about competition for places so it seems we will certainly have that.

Some of the promising youngsters we've had on loan have, as tottenmfc says, been ganting. Some have been ganting but gone on to do very well like Lewis Grabben and some have been fantastic for us like Blackman and Jutkiewic.

We do seem to freshening things up though with potentially some pace and creativity which, let's face it,we've all been crying out for.

I agree. Maybe add Watt's name to that list..?

Yeah sure. I like him a lot despite a ropey performance on Sat. Just have a fear that the others could be picked up quickly given their style of play. Watt is relatively new to the scene while Erwin, Moore, Thomas and Cadden have been standouts at youth level for some time.

You've got to think the likes of zfa, cummins, mchugh and even ainsworth and lawson might be finished at the club.

Must be..... Only one I would be disappointed with losing is Ainsworth as we know he has it in him.

The rest are all very meh.... Surprised we haven't released a few. Cummins & McHugh for starters.
