siebsbarmyarmy
So one of the loan deals fell through last night after the player opted to stay in England. Where did you hear that? Any mention of the player in question?

Bart Verheul
I think it was Arbroath that Murray was playing for yesterday as a trialist. Went off after 22mins, some Arbroath fans on pie and bovril speculating he was injured only to find out from one of the guys there he was taken off as he was a bombscare. Somembody with more a more technological mind can check it out and post the link if need be

Dave87
Record said yesterday McCall was hopeful of signing Man City Striker Jordy Hiwula on loan. He watched him play against Man Utd U21s through the week apparently
Goggles & Flippers
Anyone think Gregg Wylde could have done us a turn on the opposite wing to balance Ainsworth? I didn't realise how fast he was until yesterday, however I appreciate he didn't cut it at Aberdeen in McInnes' eyes but to be fair they are spoiled with quite a bit of depth in that squad. Andy_P
Wylde knocked us back last summer, no?
Goggles & Flippers
I don't know but maybe he thought he had a chance to break through at Aberdeen so wanted to stay and fight for it, 12 months made him realise he wasn't going to feature. Lobey_Dosser
Man City open to sending a few players up to Scotland then. Plummer certainly looked like a good acquisition for St Mirren yesterday.
weeyin
Slightly random thought that occurred to me yesterday, but if we ever did switch to summer football, that would likely mess up our loan arrangements with English clubs.
Haggischomper
Aw shit! Then we might be forced to play and develop our OWN players
siebsbarmyarmy
There's an article in the Daily Mail that we are trying to sign Devante Cole, son of Andy Cole and striker at Man City on loan..... If he is half as good as his old man I will be happy!!!

Steve Diggle
I think you might be right. I looked at their line up from Friday night and guessed
Lobey_Dosser
Cole and Hiwula are two of the highest rated prospects on the English academy scene. From what I've read and the snippets I've seen, Hiwula is closer to matching McCalls criteria of a player that runs in behind. The pair of them have played together for a while. Amazed we are looking at City prospects.
GazzyB
Feel a bit sorry for Erwin as he'd likely be the one to drop out but on the other hand this sounds like it could be a sensational signing!

Onthefringes
If Sutton doesn't lose the concrete from his boots that's slowing him down, see no reason to drop Erwin.
siebsbarmyarmy
Agreed. Concrete and grass stains from falling on his arse. Big fella scored a lot of goals last year but Lee looked and is looking a better more athletic link up option.
Mitch
The lad Cole scored a very nice goal for England U19s the other night.
