punk_in_drublic
We've not had much luck with young players and injuries over the past 2/3 years. There was a time when Hutch was consistently having problems, then there was big Saunders then Erwin and now Moore. Hopefully he gets better and it doesn't stop his progress too much. Well73
Motherwell forward Craig Moore faces lengthy lay-off Motherwell forward Craig Moore could be out for the rest of 2014 after rupturing his cruciate ligament. The 19-year-old limped off in the final moments of Wednesday's 2-1 win over Inverness, having twisted his right knee late in the game. Moore told the Motherwell website he was "absolutely devastated" but was "determined to come back bigger and better". The Steelmen finish their season with a trip to Aberdeen on Sunday. The injury for Moore followed a challenge by Gary Warren and Well manager Stuart McCall said: "It looked to be such an innocuous fall, it's such a blow to learn it is so serious. "That being said, with the type of kid Craig is, I am sure he will meet it head on and get himself back better than ever."
Noah Dosser
Gutted for the wee fella and hope he comes back fit and well. His injury got me thinking about the run of injuries the 3 boys born in 94 who came up through the ranks have suffered in the last couple of seasons. Erwin : Both knees and out for lengthy periods, especially this season when he had done well on loan at Arbroath and looked ready to kick on at FP. Moore : Broken rib and now serious knee injury, such a shame after he was becoming a 1st team squad fixture. Murray : Broken ribs and both hamstrings, the one at the start of this season especially hurtful as he was looking a good prospect. Have heard his 2nd hamstring was one of the worst JP has had to deal with. Really hard times for these youngsters trying to forge a career and hopefully they will all be stronger for the experience Would be really good if they could get a wee rub of the green next season and kick on not hampered by similar injuries. Kmcalpin
The one good thing in our favour is that John Porteous is one of the best physios in the business. I've heard this from one or two folk totally unconnected with football or Fir Park.

DEWELL
Horrible injury out for the rest of the year apparently. Means we'll bring back McHugh whose hopefully benefited from his time on loan at QOS.

weeyin
The MFC email today says we have had 9 players under the knife this season. That's quite a casualty list.
MelvinBragg
The MFC email today says we have had 9 players under the knife this season. That's quite a casualty list. And still contrived to finish in the top three? An astounding achievement. Probably explains why the Player of the Year thread only lists two or three players. Everyone else has has a spell out. Lasley and Sutton have somehow managed to stay fit all season, impressive given they're two of our more experienced players...
