something else
How soon was the Morecambe and Doncaster games announced last year? Really hope we get another jaunt down south. Anybody heard anything about who we might be playing ?
Lord Tanamo
Don't think there was much warning, especially the Donny game. Morecambe was a quality day out - the cancelled trains apart.
something else
Aye another game along the north west coast of england would be ideal. Easy to get to and some decent teams there. Blackpool, Morecambe, Fleetwood etc...

And a chance to see murph back at fir park. They've already got 5/6 matches arranged down south from mid July to the beginning of August so don't think that will be happening. Lord Tanamo
Sevco? Will they still be around pre-season ?
Onthefringes
Upon invitation, Portland Timbers on the other side of the pond was enquired about... Europa League commitments would have had a bearing on that anyways, as would any fixture at home giving the pitch more recovery time. (Remedial works were undertaken earlier due Women's International fixtures)
Mic2904
I would love Alemannia Aachen (hometown) and/or Werder Bremen (fav team in Germany) I can dream I guess Happily in Aachen. Probably the best stadium from the 4th division up to the Bundesliga: http://www.alemannia-aachen.de/tivoli/stadion/allgemeines/
Frazzie
If we could play Hertha Berlin away on June 20th, that would be grand....
weeyin
Upon invitation, Portland Timbers on the other side of the pond was enquired about... That would be a bit of a trek for a pre-season. Couldn't get much further west in the US unless you go to Hawaii.
David
I hear Malaga are open to the odd friendly. A trip to the Costa Del Sol would be nice, no?
Tweed
If we could play Hertha Berlin away on June 20th, that would be grand.... Or Union (pronounced Onion). Seriously is going to be hard to get a good test because we will want these games earlier than most due to our European commitments being so early. The Saturday we played Morecambe is two days after the first leg. The Saturday before is a possible but I don't see us wanting to pencil anything in just in case we get sent to the arse end of nowhere. I quite fancy Annan away. rambunctious
Not really fussed about pre season training matches... Pah Humbug!! <_> I feel the same. All friendlies are good for is a piss up somewhere, but we've got the Europa League for that
Goggles & Flippers
A Current supporting mate has just liked a Current facebook update, how the mighty have fallen, I take it Ajax and Inter Milan didn't get back to them. ..... "Buckie Thistle at Victoria Park on Thursday 3 July (7.30pm kick off) and a game against Brora Rangers at Dudgeon Park on Sunday 6 July (3pm kick off). Ally McCoist's squad will then travel to America and Canada from 12 July, playing two games in each country. Rangers play Ventura County Fusion at Ventura College Sportsplex in California at 7pm on 15 July then Sacramento Republic FC at Bonney Field, Sacramento at 7.30pm on 19 July. The Light Blues then play two games in Canada – against Victoria Highlanders ......"

Toxteth O'Grady
My Partick Thistle supporting workmate has just informed me that they're off to Fleetwood for a friendly. Would be a great trip.
Well-Made
Going to be down Fleetwood way, the first week of July, would be good if the club can get something sorted. Then again, wonder how the missus will feel about being left in the caravan.
