Brazilian
I'm not exactly buzzing at prospect of league starting, but looking at it , St Mirren wouldnt beat Lech Poznan, we (with an moderately attacking line up) were ahead plenty times against Stjarnen, so if McCall allows the team to attack we should do ok. with no defence after an onset of McCallitis, it could be down to who scores one more we have players to do that, let see them given the chance
Frazzie
We can't hold a lead so McCall needs to either learn this and continue to push after we're ahead or we need to hope we only manage to break them down in injury time. Other than that, there's no doubt we're better than them, despite the Europa farce.
stv
Who actually gives a fuck if Mccall emails them or not? Bugger ! I thought I was the only one he emailed

Ya Bezzer!
One player that won't play will be Hammell, will be out for up to 3 weeks Considering our lack of options at left back that's not good news.
StipeIsGod
Considering our lack of options at left back that's not good news. We don't have another option at left back at all.
Burn_Broomfield
We don't have another option at left back at all. I expect Reid to play there
weeyin
As long as McCall doesn't try to play ZFA there, I'll be happy.

superward
The full press conferences from from McCall and Law are on YouTube for those inclined. *As mentioned before, no decision on Barr but will speak to him this afternoon. *Looking at 2 loans from England - a defender and a striker. *He did say, of the back 4 (whether than means the 4 who played against Stjarnan or not isn't clear), 2 are 100% out and 2 will get a late fitness test tomorrow. Due to the disruption he won't name the team until 1.45pm tomorrow.
Ya Bezzer!
According to BBC Motherwell boss Stuart McCall could be without his entire first-choice back four for Saturday's Scottish Premiership opener against St Mirren. Craig Reid, Steven Hammell, Stephen McManus and Simon Ramsden are definitely out and the others face fitness tests on Saturday morning. Craig Moore and Paul Lawson remain out while Iain Vigurs is suspended. Veteran striker and captain Steven Thompson will miss the match for St Mirren due to a groin strain. Might be a grin and bear it tomorrow!
weeyin
If nothing else, I hope it means we won't try and sit on a lead.
Ya Bezzer!
If nothing else, I hope it means we won't try and sit on a lead. I think if we even get a lead you'd be thankful for small mercies. I make it that if you include Dom Thomas and Chris Cadden, we have 13 outfield players to pick from if all the players from that BBC preview are actually missing. -------------------------Twardzik------------------------------- Carswell------Kerr----------------Law----------Francis Angol ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Ainsworth----Leitch--------------Lasley-------Thomas ---------------------------------------------------------------------- -----------------Erwin--------------Sutton
Welldaft Mk1
Probably be Hammell and Ramsden out for sure. Means Kerr or Cummins in Central Defence or both if McManus is out. Not ideal start in terms of injuries, but it may mean Erwin and Thomas get on which would be good to see how they cope. Of course he could sign Barr - would he be eligible to play tomorrow ?
