Toxteth O'Grady
Hard to remember when I have been less interested or up for the start of a new season as much as this one. I'm in exactly the same position. The Europa debacle and lack of signings have resulted in me losing a lost of interest. I've hardly even checked these boards since the Stjarnan game. Will still be there tomorrow though.
makaveli
My grandpa was saying the same thing last night, he arranged his saturdays around the football.
siebsbarmyarmy
Not the only ones. My old boy and I were saying the same. Both of us are pretty scunnered with the football at the moment. Think we peaked excitement after the Dons game and quick re signing of players. I'll still be there tomorrow but can't say I am excited in the slightest. With the injuries tomorrow I have genuinely no idea what the team will be defensively .... Carsy - two off Cummins/Neill/Kerr - Ferguson Ainsworth - Leitch - Lasley - Law Sutton - McHugh Oooft..... Midfield looks decent but the rest is a complete worry!! Hopefully McManus or Reid are fit to slot in somewhere.
Lobey_Dosser
So is McManus now injured? 4/1 available on St Mirren the other day seems very generous now.
Yabba's Turd
I've seen St.Mirren at 9/2 on coupons
Ya Bezzer!
So is McManus now injured? 4/1 available on St Mirren the other day seems very generous now. They are 4.20 right now on Willy Hill.
superward
Reid posted a photo of his shirt with name/number on it saying he was buzzing for the game, on Instagram. So, looks like he may be good to go and play!

siebsbarmyarmy
Team Twardzik Reid, Kerr, McManus, ZFA Ainsworth Lasley Carswell Law Erwin and Sutton Subs: Gunnar, Lawson, McHugh, Leitch, Thomas, Ferguskn So defence isn't that bad. Relatively strong but how many are fully fit??
Lobey_Dosser
Pleased to see Erwin starting.
Judge Jules
I think even if a couple of the lads in defence are struggling that is still a side more than capable of beating them today.
MelvinBragg
Cummins also on the bench should any of our defenders not last the 90 minutes...

GazzyB
You have to be joking me. Embarrassed at the match stats... while we're 1-0 up? Really?
Judge Jules
It was 0-0 when i posted and the text updates said we were getting pumped so at the time yes it was embarrassing. But a shite performance and good result will do me

Ya Bezzer!
Well it wasn't an especially convincing performance but a wins a wins, especially with the injury situation. St. Mirren really only have themselves to blame for not getting something out of the match because they, and Callum Bell in particular missed, half a dozen good chances. To be fair Twardzik made a couple of excellent saves that saved us on a couple occasions. For once we were clinical up front and took our chance while St. Mirren missed all of theirs. Although we got a clean sheet, Reid and Kerr in particular gave us some hairy moments by playing far too high up the field. Attacking wise we didn't create very much with Sutton and Ainsworth having very quiet afternoons. Erwin deserved his goal, he's raw but he was probably one of our better outfield players. Overall, I'll take the 3 points but we still need to improve a lot, it's going to be much tougher in the next couple of matches you suspect. Yassin
If Thompson was fit we would have lost by 3 or 4. Abysmal.

Big Wispy Flossy
Dare i say it but i disagree with earlier poster thought Kerr (apart from a bit of hesitation that nearly let to an og) did fairly well - I agree Reid was rotten. Kerr at least looks capable when played in his normal position. Not any standout performances but Erwin, law in spells and Kerr were the best for me.
