superward
Partick had a great win up in Inverness with a draw either side against Dundee and Killie and you can't ignore that. But, I think our win last week will be a big confidence boost to the boys. Couple that with us playing a different system to what Partick faced last time and I think we will be competitive enough to edge it.  If Hammell and Vigurs are fit enough I would have them in the team. Same for Moore but on the bench.   Dan  Law O'Brien McManus Hammell  Carsy Lasley  Ainsworth Vigurs Ojamma  Sutton  Going with Sutton as he tends to score in gluts when he has confidence (and a supply). I'd like to see Erwin, Thomas and Moore all get a decent spell from the bench too.
Kmcalpin
Partick are having a decent run I wouldn't argue about that. However they are in 9th position for a reason.

Toxteth O'Grady
Good to see Hammell back:  Twardzik, Reid, Hammell, Ramsden, McManus, Ainsworth, Sutton, Lasley, O'Brien, Law, Ojamaa  subs: Nielsen, Erwin, Kerr, Thomas, Cadden, Ferguson, MacLean
superward
EDIT: Manager just confirmed formation of n audioboom. Â Dan Reid OB McManus Hammy Lasley Ramsden Ainsworth Law Ojamma Sutton
David
Here's hoping Sutton can kick on and go on a run of scoring now.
Juan Kerse
Sounds like we are playing well and Ainsworth is ripping their full back a new one.
David
Nice to see Sutton get another goal, even if it was a penalty. A wee win here would see us go into 2015 in a more positive frame of mind.

Yassin
Good first half, we fairly lost the head in the second. Â Not a fan of the Ramsden/Lasley midfield pairing. Think we need either Vigurs or Lawson in there besides one of them with a better range of passing to control the pace of the game. Â Lee Erwin has all the raw physical attributes that should tear this league apart but the boy is thick as fuck, his positional awareness is just bizzare at times. Â Why do we hate Christie Elliot again?

Ya Bezzer!
Good first half, we fairly lost the head in the second. Â Why do we hate Christie Elliot again? Â Â I think it's Higginbotham we hate. Â On the second half, we've hardly had any possession but at the end of the day its two clean sheets and hardly any dangerous moments. Not brilliant football by any means but right now we need points and that's what we've got.
weeyin
And Lawless still hasn't "come back to haunt us".
superward
Good first half, forced them to change it as Ainsworth was ripping them a new one. Once they matched up to us we found it tough but the pleasing thing was we dug in and didn't concede. Â Solid games from most. Stand outs for me where Ainsworth (first half), McManus, OB, Law and Lasley.
something else
Talk about a game of two halves. Excellent in first, awful after half time.
Burn_Broomfield
Another good result with a positive first half performance. Holding on a bit in the second, but a second consecutive clean sheet is very welcome. If we can keep the momentum then we could easily go on a good winning run. smiddy
 great to see stevie hammel back , not the best in the world , but feckin good and consistent at his natural position and knows what to do in difficult surroundings
Ya Bezzer!
And Lawless still hasn't "come back to haunt us". Â Partick fans on P&B were complaining because he didn't start today.
ONeils40yarder
Absolutely honking today, but I'll take results like that from now until the end of the season. Having Stevie Hammell back was a huge plus, but having 5 right backs on the pitch at the once was strange. Â
Lobey_Dosser
Pretty brutal 2nd half but it was all about the 3 points again. Impressed by our improved defensive structure and our willingness to win the ball back high up the park. Â I wonder if Vigurs was fit, would he replace Law in behind Sutton? We certainty need someone pulling the strings so that Ojamaa and Ainsworth don't need to drop so deep for the ball. Â Disappointed for Lee Erwin, he's no exactly covered himself in glory with his recent performances off the bench but there is a good raw player there that probably needs an experienced head beside him. Jacol
For me Law was excellent in first half, caused Thistle loads of problems with pressing and was winning possession high up pitch and then using the ball well. Hamell made a difference down the left and was solid at back. Ramsden isn't a midfielder and hopefully Lawson can be fit sometime soon. On the whole a lot of promise but not out the woods yet. Also is Vigurs injured he hasn't been spotted since his abysmal 1st half against Ross County.
ONeils40yarder
The useless cunt went off injured against County...so I'm assuming he is still injured unless Barraclough has already figured out that he is hopeless
Jacol
What I have seen so far with the way Barriclough has set up the team. Vigurs will not fit into the system or style.
ONeils40yarder
Given the nick of our bench today, I'm positive Vigurs would have been on it had he been available
