Alot has been said of our poor or lack of midfield, but a commanding goalie or at least a guy who can organise the defence can and has in the past papered over the cracks. Baracloughs arrival has not supplied the wee spark or lift you often hope for when a new manager comes in , but thats always going to be a long shot anyway with 2nd rate players in your starting 11 and even worse in the bench . How they're going to manage it I've no idea , but he must be given resources to bring in at least 3 new faces during window to give us any chance of salvaging the situation . Some wage-thiefs MUST be offloaded on loan at least to free up funds , starting with Gunnar if there is anything in the recent rumours . Been a long time since we've flirted with a relegation dogfight - kinda forgot how shit it actually feels . Think this time is even worse though , as on previous occasions you at least felt the team were together and were fighting , doing their best . That was Dundees first win in 7. It's possible we've actually got worse since Barraclough came in!!! He's not going to turn things round. He may well be on a hiding to nothing but there is nothing positive to take from that showing today. What was the plan in the 2nd half? Sometimes when a team have 10 men it's difficult to tell which team is a man down. In fairness, I'm not sure we actually did look any worse. Thomas showed some great touches but every other player, once again, should be ashamed to take their wages this week. People say Sutton is effective if you put the ball in the box for him, but he should surely be able to pass the ball 6 yards?!??its unfair just to single him out though. It's the same players making the same mistakes every single fucking week and has been since the Stjarnan game. Embarrassing and humiliating. Anyone still want to argue that the Malpas team was worse?
