kirkletsfly
What a shift skippy put in today. He's a guy you want in the trenches with you. He turned bad balls into good ones brought others into play shouted and encouraged his team mates and nipped away at the ref the whole time he was on. He tracked back put in slide tackles and was always looking for the ball. We played 30 yards further up the park today because of him. dossertillidie
Night and day!  One of those days where you just knew from the first 10mins it was going to come together!  Might be in the minority but I felt las was a bit off the pace in the defensive side in the first 30, but he fairly came into it in 2nd half and saved us with a few timely tackles  Scotty led by example pulled everyone up and got them going and it was great to see him talking two or three players through what lay ahead as he walked off the park, he's up for the fight and it's there for everyone to see that he doesn't want us to go down!  He epitomizes the confident leadership that we have desperately needed as far as I'm concerned!  Think the fans deserve a mention for the positive support they provided throughout certainly from the main stand where I was
MearnsWell
Night and day from last week as a few others have said. Total mindset change, great attitude, pressing, organisation (apart from a couple,of scares), and actually forgotten what enjoying a game felt like... The save from Long when1 on 1 was pivotal, one of those moments when you feel fate and the Gods are back on your side. So it proved, let's hope we can keep it going. milo
Ooft! Where did that come from?!?! Â Credit where credits due but that was some performance. Â Skippy and Pearo were immense but everyone played their part. Yes there was a few mistakes here and there but can't really fault anyone. Â What a difference it makes not playing Sutton. Â Just a pity the other teams at the bottom all won. I had a feeling that Ross County would win actually but not so much St Mirren, and thistle winning at tannadice is a real coupon buster! Â Need to take that level into next week and get even a point.
ONeils40yarder
The fans will be positive and respond, when there is something to be positive about. The difference on the park between today and last Saturday was huge, the drive and effort and will to win was excellent and the fans picked up on that from the 1st minute. Â The players have to get the fans onside, not the other way about.

GazzyB
Haven't seen it mentioned, is anyone able to confirm the reason Straker & Nathan Thomas never made the 18 man squad? Injury or just dropped?

ONeils40yarder
Striker was sitting not far from me...shat it to ask for his autograph, don't think I could have kept a straight face. I think even Baraclough must realise that the lad is way below the required standard for this league
superward
Agreed, he was also very visible in front of the dugout after he was subbed, encouraging the team and generally looking right up for the fight. Â Overall a very different feeling this week from last, we actually looked like a football team this week. Â Also agree on that! Â He was talking Erwin through the game as well
joe90
Thought McDonald showed a bit of the leadership we've been looking for on the park and the players responded to it. Â Great performance and great to see a bit of fight in the team again. this. Even whe he was going off he was encouraging people.
StipeIsGod
Loved seeing some folk up top other than Sutton. Watching McDonald talk our young players through the game was cracking as well. Looks to have matured well, the pungent cheese that he is. Â Great cross and header for goal one. Â Law looked assured at right back, Grant looks goooooood, and Pearson and McDonald shift the game in our favour. Â McManus was poor again, and Ramsden, much as I liked parts of his play, could have sunk us with a (yet another) sending off. Â Outrageously encouraged, and come on, kick on from here! DEWELL
Calm down folks a vital 3 points. We're still bottom of one of the worst leagues in europe. A defeat today would've virtually relegated us. We've avoided it today. every game we play now will be the same any defeat at any time could bury us. Partick Thistle are virtually uncatchable for us and St. Mirren and Ross County are on a roll. We need to stay focused.

joewarkfanclub
Havent been since Partick game in December and no idea why I chose to go today as I had absolutely no expectation of anything other than defeat but wow! No idea where it came from. Clearly the introduction of Pearson and MacDonald had a huge influence and the manager looked to have learned something from the last few weeks by playing the guys mostly in their preferred positions. Still some work to do at the back and cutting out unforced errors but that was the most entertaining and enjoyable performances of the season and better than a lot of the stuff we served up last year. One swallow doesn't make a summer, but when we were looking for any kind of sign that we might just get out of this, today was a good start. mfcdez
With Pearson , Mcdonald and with a bit of luck Hammell back fit for the run-in , we may just have that little bit of extra quality and experience to set us apart from County and St Mirren to see us over the line and safe . Great fighting performance today , thought the Mcdonald/Erwin pairing looked very promising and surely they will get the nod to start together again next week . Skippy's Craft and tenacity along with Erwins physicality and workrate make them a real handful for defences , and I can see the pairing bearing fruit if they are given a run . Great feeling to at last walk out of Fir Park at full time actually looking forward to the next game .

DEWELL
Nah. Im still very concerned. It's our best performance of a miserable season and it does give us some hope. Signing Scott Mac and a decent keeper might just get us 10th spot. I'll do the 'creaming' then when we're safe.
