siebsbarmyarmy
As it says on the thread, Gordon Crawford has joined the club. About bloody time but maybe too late!! http://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/2015/02/25/crawford-joins-the-coaching-staff/ Edit to add - Cracking pedigree and a great step if you ask me. Coolhandluc
Hopefully he can find a way of motivating Ainsworth into giving some effort
Burn_Broomfield
Plaudits for such an appointment. It's been long overdue.
weeyin
Alf Tupper I'm old enough to know who that is (and his fish and chip diet).
The African
Looks like a good appointment. Obviously eight months too late but never mind. We will be the fittest team in the Championship.
steelman1991
I'm old enough to know who that is (and his fish and chip diet). He He me too and it didn't do him any harm.

Lobey_Dosser
Long overdue appointment and it sounds like a decent selection. Assume these recent recruits will still be in place when Baraclough inevitably departs...
GazzyB
^ I see it as the opposite myself, that the board see Barra as being here long term and letting him bring in people in certain positions.
Busta Nut
^me too, same with the scouting system and that.

Yup thats what i was thinking. They aint gonna bring in a new number 2 selected by Barra then to have to pay them off in a few weeks. Haggischomper
As much as it seems Bara is getting it wrong on the field, off the field he has barely put a foot wrong and he deserves credit for that
Bop
I'd agree with that Haggis, but unless he sorts it out on the park it doesn't mean anything. I definitely feel for him, I feel like he has the right idea in changing the set up and implementing a more forward thinking philosophy at the club but my worry is that when it comes to the crunch he doesn't have the tactical ability to translate all of the good work behind the scenes in to performances. I hope i'm wrong because he's likable but i'd still punt him if we look inept on Saturday.
fizoxy
Maybe he can move upstairs
siebsbarmyarmy
Even if Bara goes I wouldn't say the appointments would have to go aswell. Not exactly close associates or have much loyalty to him. They would Prob stay, Crawford in particular is someone who is looking to red it up from top to bottom I am led to believe. Coatsy
Looks like the club is having a complete overhaul moving onto a more professional basis I think it's exciting times
MFCL84
I have to agree, exciting time at Fir Park. If only we can get it right on the pitch.
Malky79
As unlikely as it seems we just need to win a couple of games. Let the false optimism of Skippy returning be rudely shattered tomorrow to make me question the possibility of that ever happening again.
Jamsie119
It would be nice if it could come together just to see how he rebuilds the team when the no hopers get punted

StAndrew7
Anyone heard a rumour this guys been put on gardening leave? Certainly haven't seen him around the club as much as he was at the end last season. Nowhere near the subs at HT like he was before.
