Blakey
When we came out of the East Stand at the end of the game the cops were talking to two guys on the other side of the road and there were various shouts between both sets of fans. Did I miss something or was it just handbags?
Juan Kerse
Seen at least three assaults in 30 seconds while walking out the East. Knuckledragging neanderthals having a pop at 'Well fans for the AUDACITY to celebrate a motherwell result - CLEARLY we have h*n agenda according to them Wankers

DosserJoe
Dissapointed to hear that there was trouble and more disappointed to see they were not held back after the game as was mooted.
phoenix
They know they are not welcome in our stand. Long way to go but violence seems the only answer to achieve our goal.
SCDave
Was right next to us. The situation was fine, until police on horses moved to grab one of the guys who was caught up in the shouting match with the Celtic fans. The copper on a horse grabbed the guy, ripping his hood off in the process, him and a few of his mates then had a bit of handbags with the cops. star sail
Wasnt just that, was their sickening chants about the late great Davie cooper which were absolutely sickening And its ok for us to chant about Celtic paedophiles? Pheonix 'They know they are not welcome in our stand. Long way to go but violence seems the only answer to achieve our goal.' Superb!! Looks like Fir Parks going to be a great place to take kids in the future. I can't stand the behaviour of the Old Firm fans but when we start the same pish it makes me sick. Kmcalpin
I really cannot understand why if the Police go the trouble of closing streets to traffic for half an hour at the end of games and erect barriers (which were a safety hazard in themselves) outside the ticket office they cannot put the same effort and thought into segregating fans after the match. ML1
Strathclyde Police are a joke. They are happy to have Motherwell fans in the East and the great unwashed in the Cooper and South but the policing in place after the game was inadequate , a joke and is a serious incident waiting to happen. They are quite happy to put shite soundbites on the website week in week out about shouting ,but the first bit of policing they are asked to do and they dont have a clue. The club obviously dont care either , if they persist with giving the Cooper away the crocodile tears wont wash when someone gets seriously hurt on Knowetop Avenue . If Celtic are going to be having their boys club officials bugger wee boys or club photographers keeping child porn in their lockers at Celtic park then they can expect opposition fans to sing about it , scum. Tweed
They should be held in after the game no question. Its common sense that when tensions are high and they are when we meet that any potential flashpoints should be minimised. That said it doesn't condone bad/thuggish behaviour from fans on either side and its quite sad that two sets of fans can't mingle. I ended up walking out of Easter Road with a Hibs fan who I didn't know from Adam a few weeks ago and we had a great chat about the game - the way it should be. Christ in rugby they don't even need segregation. Sometimes football makes you sick.
phoenix
Wait a wee minute here, I have had loads of hassle leaving the east when walking into the old firm coming out from the Cooper, I like to take my kids to a game, can I take them to a game like that can I hell. Why should we have to listen to their pish coming from our stand. I have had enough of it and am quite justified in my decision to fight the fuckers at every opportunity, I will continue to cause bother around our stadium when the bigot brothers are in town until I think it is safe to take my children to a game involving them at Fir park. I don't ask for support from anyone else but there are quite a few who now feel with the games on setanta it is no longer viable to have them in our end of the ground

east stand loyal
I was nearly fightin wae a crowd of them on the way round to the East Stand (Fist time av ever had any bother walkin past the away support). Can't stand the bastards wae their Palestinian flags etc they should aw be shot and as far "You're in the wrong fuckin country" goes we're only givin as good as we get, The majority of the songs they sing are about the troubles in Ireland well do us all a favour, fuck off over their n take about 90% of ur support wae u. McDonalds a two faced bastard so much for his thanks to Motherwell for saving him from the football scrapheap, his OTT celebrations were a fuckin joke, runnin up to the East Stand, he may as well have pulled a Motherwell top out of his shorts n pissed on it. Fuckin Shockin. Apparently they were singing Rebel songs in the Fir Park Club before the game so they were'nt allowed in after it. Ma da was sayin he was waitin to get in the Club after the game n some wee burd wae a celtic top on was shoutin "JOOS LET UZ IN MAHN MA MATES IR IN N THEYVE GOAT SELLICK TAPS OAN" n on of the FPC officials said under his breath "Let ye in, mare chance ad let Elton John in, infact ad rather shag Elton John" haha

Iain7_mfc
Was right in front of it all. Once again Celtic fans were there usual sore losers/bad winners/canny take losing points c***s. These animals should be kept behind after the game and basically it's all down to that tit Boyle giving them the Cooper. Also them signing disgusting chants about Davie Cooper was horrible. Scum. Would be totally different if we started signing songs about Jimmy Johnstone or Tommy Burns. SCUM!

Burn_Broomfield
They really are the scum of the Earth! Used to the pointless flags and bigotry from them but, nothing and I mean NOTHING riles me like when they sing Davie Cooper songs. If it wasn't for the coppers these smart arsed bastards would have been picking their remaining teeth up off the road. Would like to point out the wankrash who sang said songs, challenged some of us, then went running to the nearest PC when he realised his balls were going be parted . Typical mouthy scumbag from the green side of the OF
Frazzie
I am pretty sure I will never be disappointed by the thoughts and actions of Old Firm fans, as my opinion of them is about as low as it could be anyway, but I am hugely disappointed in Strathclyde Police after this game. When the Trust met with the Match Commander, I asked if it would be possible for their fans to be kept back after the match, explained why this should be so and he agreed with me. And then nothing. Having said that, the 'Well boys have broken all the promises they made that night aswell so it seems like the meeting was nothing more than a well-intentioned waste of time. Frazzle
