Kmcalpin
Presumably the post split fixtures are due out imminently? No doubt the precise timing will be down to the TV companies haggling and horsetrading over the draft list which they will already have been given. In my view our prospects will depend in no small part on the exact fixture list. Playing Partick at home is a very different prospect from playing them away. Likewise I don't fancy another trip to Dingwall. Accies travelling to Paisley might be a different game to Saints going to Hamilton. Ideally I'd like (in no particular order) 3 homes and 2 aways: Partick H Killie H Hamilton A Ross County H St Mirren A Thats how it should pan out on the basis of previous fixtures but we'll see. Spiderpig
The first 3 games after the split are vital, especially if one of them is against RC, we need 9 points and hope that RC slip up in either 1 or both of their other 2 games. That would allow us to get back on terms (or hopefully ahead of them ) with a couple of games left, then it will be all to play for.
star sail
I would like Ross County at home as the first game post split. Win that and it sets the tone for the rest of the games, ourselves with a bit of momentum and Ross County suddenly having a few questions asked of them. Lose that game and the rest of the campaign can be spent preparing for the play offs.
maxywell
We've more chance of catching Killie now, RC are 6 ahead with a better goal difference so really that makes it 7 the same as Partick and Killie but Killie are the ones going the wrong way at the moment. weeyin
If I was scheduling TV, our Ross County game would be last game of the season.
Donaldo87
I do think it'll be one of our home games on tv on the last day in the hope it means something. Hopefully Thistle, County and Killie all play each other towards the start and give us a chance to close the gap
ONeils40yarder
When do they get announced, considering we have no idea who we face at the weekend?
Lobey_Dosser
I'd have thought today. Mind it's the cup this weekend though.
Ya Bezzer!
If I was scheduling TV, our Ross County game would be last game of the season. Might be meaningless by that time, as we need to beat them and have Ross County drop points elsewhere somewhere along the line. From a Motherwell point of view, I'd want Ross County first. Beat them at Fir Park and all of a sudden their run is over and we are right down their necks again with 4 to go.

AndyRoss
Clyde One said a SPFL source anticipated they'd be released tomorrow. Not long after Gordon Dalziel answered 'six' to the question 'how many times have Scotland qualified for the World Cup since 1990?' Could be a while.... Goggles & Flippers
BBC are reporting the police and TV are what's delaying things. 5pm I reckon. Not outrageous to suggest they maybe should have had 3 different scenarios ready to publish so it isn't getting left to the last minute. Typical. texanwellfan
isn't the same every year though?
Kmcalpin
Yes the same thing happens every year. It always will unless, by luck, the TV companies and Police can agree quickly.
Lobey_Dosser
I can't imagine their being too many police issues unless they're not keen on us taking 2,000 to Hamilton or Paisely on a Friday night. I reckon we'll end up with a third trip to Thistle.
